The device is applied in the maintenance and repair of the contact network in open pits. It exhibits improved technological features. It consists of a bearer frame (1) mounted on a rail carriage (2). The hoisting platform (3) with reciprocating movement perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearer frame (1) is attached to the latter. On the opposite side of the hoisting platform (3) there is an adjustable balancing weight (4), placed between the front (5) and rear (6) axle of the rail carriage (2). The front axle is hinged at its highest point to the centre of the bearer frame (1) on top of which, near the hoisting platform (3), there is a compartment for tools (11) and a seat (12). The hoisting platform (3) is set in motion by a hydraulic mechanism (9) via a control panel (10).
