Abstract

PURPOSE: To elongate cushion stroke of endless truck for improving a comfortable sense to ride in by disposing a suspension spring for absorbing vertical strokes of endless trucks on a snowmobile along the upper surface of frame at the rear portion thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Drive wheels 7 are rotatably suspended in the front portion of a truck housing 2 of a snowmobile, and left and right parallel slide rails 10 are suspended through front links 8 and suspension 9. Guide wheels 11 are rotatably suspended at the rear end of the rail 10, and endless trucks 6 are trained between the wheels 7, 11. The suspension 9 for this truck 6 and slide rail 10 is constituted from a suspension spring 14 and linkage (24W27) for connecting the spring 14 to the slide rail 10, and the suspension spring 14 constitutes a buffer 19 together with a barrel 15 and rod 16 and is disposed behind a frame 1 along the upper surface of the frame 1.
