Устройството намира приложение за определяне съставните части на суровините преди промишленото им обработване. То е с разширени функционални възможности и с него се осигурява откриване с повишена точност на съставни елементи, като калций, титан, желязо. Устройството се състои от активиращ блок за облъчване на една част от взетата проба с бързи, а на останалата част с бавни неутрони, пневматично транспортиращо приспособление за проби, свързващо активиращия блок с блока за доставяне на проби, и с високоенергетичен измервателен пункт. Устройството включва и нискоенергиен измервателен пункт, състоящ се от възбудителен радиационен блок за излъчване на меки лъчи към отнетата от изследвания материал проба и от детекторен блок.
