Пресата намира приложкение в металообработването за пресуване на детайли.тя включва корпус от две части,за предпочитане симетрични една на друга и образуващи след съединяване една затворена кутия снабдена с отвори,осигуряващи достъп до работната повърхност на пресата.разделителната равнина на двете части на корпуса е успоредна на направлението на работното движение на плъзгача на пресата плъзгачът с формата на кутия е плъзгащо монтиран между направляващи елементи,закрепени към вътрешните повърхности на частите на корпуса на пресата. Направляващите елементи съединяват двете части на корпуса на пресата.плъзгачът е със скосявания ,на на които съответствуват ъглите на частите на корпу са на пресата.в разделителната равнина на частите има канали с пръти,предпазващи от взаимно преместване частите на корпуса в разделителната равнина. 4 претенции,6 фигуриThe press is used in metalworking for pressing details.
