Abstract

The dock can find application in shipbuilding, ship repairing and the operation of vessels and floating equipment, in particular in the docking of vessels for performing repair works. It ensures docking of vessels at any water level in the water area and high productivity as it can serve several operator positions on the shore. During operation the dock is "sitting" on the bottom which guarantees its stability when the vessels are raised. The dock comprises a lower fixed supporting platform (1), on its board side and star board of which pontoons (2) are fixed, and on top of them vertical columns (3, 3.1) are fixed positioned symmetrically on the board side and star board of the dock. Columns (3, 3.1) are connected by bridges (4) in their upper part stretching along the entire length of the dock. Upon the bridges (4), respectively on the board side and starboard, lifting device (5) with ropes (9) are found. For the performance of the lifting operations a mobile load lifting platform (7) is envisaged due to which the dock can operate in "sitting" position on the bottom of the water area when the vessel is lifted to the level of the operating site on the shore and is transferred to it by means of rail tracks (10) found on them which have trolleys (11) mounted on them onto which the docking vessel (12) is fitted and moved.
