Abstract

The nutritive medium is in the form of a suitable combination of specified quantities of macro- and micro-salts, caseine hydrolysate, saccharose, vitamins, agar-agar. BAP (-6-benzylaminopurine, ANAA (alpha-naphthylacetic acid), GA (Gibberelic acid) and AgNO3 (silver nitrate), which sets up conditions for mass budding of explants. From one explant, taken from the tops and the stem knees, for 20-25days, from 15 to 30 new fragments can be produced. The medium allow from one in vitro formed plant to produce from eight to ten thousand new ones after four subcultivations.
