Abstract
The invention refers to biotechnology, particularly to a process for in vitro micropropagation of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni plants.The process, according to the invention, includes obtaining of explants, sterilization, segmentation and cultivation thereof on the Murashige-Skoog nutrient medium, containing additionally steroid glycosides obtained from roots of Solanum melongena L. egg-plants by extraction with boiling water, treatment of the obtained extract with butanol-1 and concentration, in a concentration of (2.5...3.0)·10-3%, at the same time cultivation is carried out at a temperature of 22...26°C, air relative humidity of 70%, with a photoperiod of 16 and 18 hours day and night and the light intensity of 3000 lx.The result of the invention consists in increasing the somatic embryogenesis and regeneration of plants.
