Abstract

The acaricidal means is used for varroathosis and braulosis on bees, in particular it is effective for the protection of the species of Apis Millifera (the honey bee) from Varroa jacobsoni - ectoparasitic acar, specific for the Apis species. The preparation is a mixture of aqueous extract of leaves of common balm leaves (Melissae Folium), containing from 0.1 to 0.5% wt.% of dried drug, and a solution of oxalic acid, containing from 1.5 to 4.5 wt.% of it, in ratio from 1:2 to 5:1, preferably 1:1.
