Abstract

The tri-component filtering product is used for the decontamination of liquid radioactive wastes from Nuclear Power Plants (cubic residue) to a degree ranging from 99.5 to 99.7%. It is subject to cementing using constructional cement in ratio 1:1 to strength indicators of structural concrete and subsequent burial in Balbock-Bulgaria cubes. The tri-component filtering material is based on mineral and was produced from chemically modified natural aluminosilicate (clinoptilolite) containing 80-85% useful component, chemically modified with sodium, iron and magnesium salts and heat-stabilized at 350 degrees C. The ingredients are mixed in ratio 1.5:1:1 in favour of the sodium component. 4 claims
