Abstract

Изобретението се отнася до метод за отстраняване на сулфатни йони от електролита на електрохимична редоксисистема, като електролитът съдържа хлорни йони, а сулфатните йони са замърсяващи или пречещи.Методът включва следните етапи: повишаване концентрацията на хлорните йони в електролита чрез електрохимична редукция на халогена, изкристализиране на сулфата от електролита и отделяне на кристализиралия сулфат от електролита. Изобретението се отнася също така и до електрохимичен метод за натрупване и/или за доставяне на енергия, включващ етап на отстраняване на сулфатните йони от електролита пометода, описан по-горе.
