Abstract

The device can be used in metallurgy and lime production, inparticular in furnace or kiln equipment guaranteeing even axialsymmetrical burden distribution. It consists of a verticallymovably cone (1) fitted in the supply hole of hopper (2) of thefurnace under which there is a truncated cone (3) fitted in theneck (4) of the furnace and fixed to it. The section of its upperbase is larger than the section of the base of cone (1). An uppercylindrical ring (5) is fixed on the inner side of the truncatedcone (3) and a lower cylindrical ring (6) is fixed to the neck (4)of the furnace under ring (5), the diameter e of ring (5) beingsmaller than the diameter of ring (6). In every ring (5, 6) thereare inclined flat baffles (7) of rectangualar, trapeze orstep-like form radially evenly positioned on its inner side,arranged evenly or stepping-like in height.
