  Deze uitvinding stelt een nieuw haargroeimiddel voor. 



  Tot nu toe, behalve de plantaardige of kruidenmiddelen, bestonden er geen haargroeimiddelen. 



  Sinds kort bestaat   er"Minoxidil",   een synthetiseerbare, scheikundige formule, die pretendeert een haargroeimiddel te zijne Dit bloeddrukverlagend produkt   gaf"per os"bij bepaalde patiën-   ten, als nevenwerking een haargroei over heel het lichaam. 



  Er wordt nu aan gewerkt   om"Minoxidil"voor uitwendig   gebruik op de markt te brengen als haargroeimiddel. 



  Deze uitvinding maakt gebruik   vsn   een gekend geneesmiddel dat toegepast wordt voor de   behandeling"per os"van   angina pectoris. 



  Nifedipine bestaat in kapsules die voor deze toepassing worden doorgesneden. 



  De olieachtige substantie wordt opgetrokken en in een recipiënt   bewaard.'s   Avonds wordt een gedeelte van het produkt op de kale schedel ingewreven. Het overtollige wordt verwijderd met een papieren   zakdoekje.'s Morgens wordt   de schedel met water gereinigd. Deze werkwijze wordt dagelijks herhaald. 



  Doordat Nifedipine vasodilaterend werkt, brengt het meer zuurstof ter plaatse waardoor het proces dat kaalheid bevordert, tegengegaan wordt. 



  Dat het produkt lokaal vasodilaterend werkt, kan men tevens zien aan't feit dat de schedelhuid, na inwrijven, een rode kleur heeft en een warmtesensatie geeft. 



  Nifedipine door de zuurstofbevloeing lokaal te verhogen, werkt ook bactericied, vooral tegen de propionibacterium acnes, dat een anaëroob microob is. Deze verschijnselen zijn in de geneeskunde wel bekend en goed beschreven.

  Het effect van Nifedipine, zoals hoger beschreven toegepast, resulteert na enkele maanden in't   volgende :   eerst krijgt men donshaar op de kale schedel en daarna gaat gaat het donshaar over in een mormale groeifase tot vol-   waardig   haar. 



  De snelheid van het groeiproces kan individueel verschillen. 



  Bijkomende voordelen van Nifedipine voor lokaal gebruik is dat de huid van de schedel en het aangezicht minder vettig wordt. 



  Tevens vertoont het aangezicht minder meeëters en acné. Tot nu toe vertoont Nifedipine onder lokaal gebruik geen nevenwerkingen en geen bekende allergische reakties. 



  Nifedipine, lokaal gebruik en vermengd in een olieachtig   middel,     k-iv) spijtig genoeg   niet meermaals daags op de schedelhuid inge-   wreven   worden wegens het toxisch aspect van de olieachtige oplossing. 



  Nifedipine, vermengd in andere vormen (crèmes, lotions, shampoos) zullen de eigenschappen van het produkt nog verbeteren. 



  Crèmes, lotions of shampoos hebben de bekende intrinsieke voordelen op oliën voor de behandeling van de schedelhuid en het haar.

  This invention proposes a new hair growth agent.



  Until now, apart from the herbal or herbal remedies, there were no hair growth remedies.
