Abstract

Un coupe-racine à disque comportant un bati (1), un disque de coupe (12) et des caissons à couteaux (18), conçu pour accroitre la capacité de coupe du coupe-racines sans augmenter le diamètre du disque de coupe, est caractérisé en ce que les caissons à couteaux (18) sont posés sur la face supérieure (16) du disque de coupe (12), ce disque étant constitué, dans la zone des caissons, de nervures obliques (14) régulièrement espacées. L'invention est applicable notamment au découpage des betteraves sucrières.
