Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la réduction de matière oxydée. Il comprend les étapes suivantes : - production d'un gaz réducteur contenant principalement du monoxyde de carbone et de l'hydrogène, à partir d'une matière de départ carbonée et/ou hydrocarbonée; - établissement du gaz réducteur ainsi produit à une température appropriée pour le procédé de réduction suivant et ensuite introduction du gaz dans un four à cuve (1) contenant la matière oxydée devant etre réduite; - élimination d'essentiellement toute l'eau et des particules du type poussières du gaz réducteur; -évacuation d'au moins une partie de l'écoulement de gaz de retour ainsi traité.The invention relates to a process for the reduction of oxidized material.
