Abstract

Procédé pour éliminer le sulfure d'hydrogène de mélanges gazeux et en particulier de mélanges gazeux contenant des hydrocarbures, suivant lequel le mélange gazeux est traité à l'aide d'une solution aqueuse d'un nitrite hydrosoluble tel que le nitrite de sodium, le pH de la solution aqueuse étant de 5,5 ou davantage. Avantageusement, la concentration en nitrite s'échelonne d'environ 0,1 % en poids à la quasisaturation et le milieu aqueux contient un tampon tel qu'un borate, phosphate, phtalate, etc.
