Abstract

Une tete de peignage à entrainement par chaine (1) comporte un dispositif pour diriger des jets d'air comprimé vers les peignes (10), ces moyens comprenant des conduits (14) afin de fournir de l'air comprimé à chaque champ d'aiguilles défini par les peignes (10), et des fentes (15) afin d'engendrer à partir de l'air fourni, au moins un jet plat d'air comprimé dirigé vers l'extérieur dans une direction prédéterminée qui ne coupe pas la zone de traitement (16) du ruban entre les peignes (10). Pendant le mouvement des peignes (10), le jet plat d'air comprimé s'écoule successivement sur les surfaces des peignes (10), les nettoyant.
