Abstract

La clé à cale se caractérise par sa capacité de permettre de réarmer le mouvement actif sans l'oter de l'objet de sa prise tout en présentant la facilité de s'engager sur celui-ci par le coté, telle une clé plate ordinaire. Elle permet cela grace à une (ou deux) cale mobile à rappel qui lui donne la possibilité de faire tourner sa fourche autour de l'objet (écrou...) pendant le mouvement inverse au mouvement actif et de le coincer lors du retour au mouvement actif.
