"Disc mill" "Disc mill"
The present invention relates to a disc mill produced for crushing non-metallic materials.
There is known a disc mill consisting of a housing mounted on a support frame and closed by a cover.
at the top; a horizontal rotating disc is present in the housing and a rotating cone is arranged behind the disc angularly. The rotary disc and the rotary cone are controlled by their own drive unit, the rotary cone forming the grinding orifice with the rotary disc. A feed tube enters the lid of the disc mill; below this tube, an upper blade has been mounted in the housing, located above the rotating disc, in the plane of the grinding orifice. A cleaning blade and a discharge tube are arranged below the rotating disc.
The disadvantages of the known mill are as follows: the cleaning blades located above and below the rotating disc, which make the construction complicated, participate in the grinding process and generate an irregular movement of the materials introduced and discharged; the grinding orifice, whose shape changes, does not guarantee uniform grinding of the materials.
The object of the present invention is to produce a grinder
discs of a simplified design, providing crushed materials of a constant regularity.
This object is achieved, according to the invention, thanks to a disc mill consisting of a housing mounted on a support frame and closed by a cover at the top. In the housing, there is provided a vertically oriented rotary disc and a rotary casing arranged angularly with respect to the disc in a horizontal plane, the axis of the casing intersecting the active plane of the rotary disc at its center. The rotating cone forms an angle of 40 to 80 [deg.] With the rotating disc, so that they both create a grinding orifice of a rectangular shape. A supply tube is mounted in the housing cover and is oriented directly above the grinding orifice, below which the discharge tube is arranged.
The advantages of the disc mill according to the invention are as follows: a simplified design allowing
the direct fall of the materials into the grinding orifice and a grinding orifice of a fixed shape guaranteeing crushed materials whose dimensions are identical.
Examples of embodiments of the present invention are shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a horizontal section of the crusher transversely to the axes of the disc and the cone; and Figure 2 is a side view of the disc mill.
The disc mill according to the invention comprises a housing 1 arranged on a support frame 2 and closed by a cover 3 provided with an intake tube 4, an emission tube 5 being located below the housing 1. In this housing 1, there is provided a horizontal shaft 6 provided with a vertically oriented disc 8, resting on a bearing seat 7, as well as a horizontal shaft 9 provided with a rotating cone 11 fixed on the bearing seat 10 The axis of the shaft 9 of the rotary cone
11 cuts the active plane of the rotating disc 8 at its center, forming an angle of 40 to 80 [deg.] With the active plane. The generator of the rotary cone 11 forms a rectangular grinding orifice with the active plane of the rotary disc 8. The control of the rotary disc 8 and of the rotary cone 11 is carried out by means of the drive units 13 and 14.
The inlet tube 4 of the cover 3 is oriented directly above the grinding orifice 12 and the emission tube 5 is located below the grinding orifice 12.
The disc mill according to the invention operates as follows: the material to be ground is introduced through the inlet tube 4 of the cover 3, falls directly into the grinding orifice 12, is prevented from deviating from the orifice and is thus ground. The ground material of a regulated size falls below the grinding orifice 12 and is withdrawn from the disc mill by the emission tube 5.
