Uitvindingsoctrooi - Spoel- en reinigingsmachine.
Beschrijving : Tot op heden worden in de drukkerijen de zeefdrukramen manuel gereinigd, hetwelk een tijdrovend en vuil werk is.
Bij de machine door mij ontworpen gebeurt dit volautomatisch als volgt:De machine bestaat uit drie kasten, kast I voor white spirit, kast 2 voor bleekwater, en kast 3 voor water. De pompen van kast I en kast 2 zijn voorzien voor spoelmiddelen van allerlei samenstellingen. De drie kasten zijn onderling verbonden door een transportband, dewelke de kader van de ene bak naar de andere brengt, maar
op zulke wijze dat het spoelmiddel de tijd krijgt voldoende in te werken. Op de pompen van kast I en kast 2 is zo weinig mogelijk druk gebracht, om de verstuiving van het spoelmiddel tegen te gaan en daardoor, niet tegenstaande een goede inwerking te hebben op het raamoppervlak, hot middel zo veel mogelijk in verbruik te verminderen. Kast 3 is voorzien met een waterspuitinstallatie onder hoge druk, deze om de door voorgaande middelen geweekte verf volledig
van het raam weg te spuiten. De spuitinstallatie gaat automatisch
op en af, hetgeen momenteel nog manuel gebeurt, met dit verschil
dat het automatisch veel nauwkeuriger zal geschieden.
De afstand van de besproeiing is te regelen door eindregelaars, en elektrisch relais. De breedte van de besproeiing door verstelbare sproeiers, en door een tijdrelais welke de aanvoerband de gewenste afstand doet afleggen, dit wil zeggen, dat de elektrische installatie toelaat de transportband automatisch voort te laten lopen op zodanige wijze dat hij bijvoorbeeld I50mm voortloopt, stopt, de spoelmiddelen de tijd geeft om in te werken en de waterspuit tevens de tijd heeft het reeds ingeweekte gedeelte te reinigen.
Gans de automatisatie wordt bevolen door de eindregelaars van de waterspuit. Het bijzonderste principe is het op- en afgaan van de onder hoge druk gezette waterspuit, het periodiek stoppen van de band om het inwerken en het uitspuiten, en de regelbaarheid voor de noodzakelijke; tijd en snelheid. De instelling van de waterspuit is zowel van hoogte als van breedte regelbaar, dit geld ook voor de twee andere kasten.

The distance of the watering can be regulated by limit regulators and electric relays.
