Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the quality of a coating by providing a horizontal supporting rod for holding a material to be coated, a supporting rod moving device, a rack fixed in the traveling direction of the supporting rod, a pinion and a means for rotating the supporting rod by the rotation of the pinion when the supporting rod is moved to the coating device.
CONSTITUTION: A material 40 to be coated is carried into an air blowing zone 110 by a supporting rod moving means 10 and cleaned by an automatic air-blow destaticizer 111. The material 40 is then introduced into an automatic spraying zone 120A, rotated by a supporting rod 1, transferred in the zone 120A and coated with a paint sprayed from the spray gun 121a of an automatic coating machine 121. Since the material 40 is horizontally rotated around the shaft, the paint sprayed on the material 40 is uniformly spread over the surface of the material 40. Consequently, the equipment is simplified, and the cost is reduced.
