<EMI ID=1.1>

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent on reading the following description and the appended figures, given by way of illustration but not limitation.
Figure 1 is a front view of a dosing container containing a liquid. Figure 2 is a side view of the container of Figure 1. Figure 3A is a perspective view of the metering device adaptable to the aforementioned container, which metering device, arranged in accordance with the present invention, contains a medicament. Figure 3B shows a variant of the metering device of Figure 3A. Figure 4 is a perspective view of the metering device of Figures 3A or 3B, fixed to the neck of the container of Figure 1. Figure 1 shows a container according to the invention, in this case a deformable molded bottle 10 preferably having , a straight section which has an overall oval profile and which carries a tab 11 directed downwards, on which can be engraved an order number, an expiration date, or any other necessary information.

The bottle orifice is hermetically sealed by a cap 13 which has a lever arm 14 and a flat disc-shaped cover 19.
The neck is eccentric with respect to the central axis of the bottle so that one shoulder of the bottle is longer than the other, this longer shoulder defining a shoulder 12 inclined downwards. The tilt increases the spacing between the bottle and the lever arm so that when the bottle is gripped by hand the user's thumb can be inserted into this space and by positioning the lever arm in direction of the boom arm, the stopper could be broken and the cover thrown away. The junction between the cover and the neck is formed by molding so that, once the seal has been removed, a secondary seal ring 36 is obtained.

The cylindrical part 15 located in an area immediately adjacent to the bottle is arranged to come into rubbing contact with the interior surface of the metering device to form a primary seal 37.
The metering unit consists of a hollow cylindrical capillary tube 31 comprising closure means 32 ensuring the hermetic closure of the two ends of the tube. These plugs can enter the tube as shown in Figure 3A to form a central cavity 34 of a predetermined volume equal to the desired amount of active ingredient.
Alternatively, the capsule can be arranged as shown in Figure 3B where
the cavity 35 is subjected to a vacuum and is sealed in aseptic manner by the closure means 32 and by a stopper 33 provided with a surface 33A intended to be punctured using a hypodermic needle. In this embodiment, the nurse can prepare an active ingredient other than those listed above, and he can inject and store the preparation in the doser until ready to use.
In use, the bottle containing the pre-dosed quantity of diluent, for example water or a saline substance, is grasped by the nurse in one hand, the nurse then inserting his thumb between the inclined shoulder and the lever arm so as to push the blanking plug outwards, remove it and discard it. The liquid remains inside the bottle since the inside diameter of the neck forms a capillary and requires crushing of the bottle to release the diluent.
The nurse then removes one of the gaskets from the dispenser and places the open end on the neck of the bottle in order to achieve a friction fit. A primary seal 37 and a secondary seal 36, formed by the frictional contact established between the neck and the metering device, prevent loss of liquid. By simply removing the seal remaining on the doser, the assembly can be turned over, and the crushing of the bottle allows the contents of the capsule to penetrate into the nebulizer of the IPPB device under the influence of the diluent from the bottle.
Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described and shown; it is capable of numerous variants accessible to those skilled in the art, depending on the applications envisaged and without departing from the spirit of the invention.
