l'une des faces d'extrémité comprend en son centre une encoche conique 5 destinée à recevoir une languette 6 portée par la face d'extrémité de l'élement 4 voisin ;

Helical staircase.
The present invention relates to helical staircases and aims to allow their construction in a very rapid manner and with the aid of prefabricated elements.
A staircase which is the subject of the invention is characterized essentially in that it is formed of one-piece elements each comprising a step, an element of
stringer and a column element, these elements being interconnected by interlocking.
In the practical embodiment of the invention, each stringer element with which the corresponding step forms a body by molding is constituted by a plate which on its end faces is provided with interlocking members cooperating with corresponding members of a stringer element. neighbour.
In order to make the invention fully understood, an exemplary embodiment thereof will be described below.
<EMI ID = 1.1> Figure 1 is a perspective view of a helical staircase executed in accordance with the invention.
Figures 2 and 3 show two embodiments given as examples of single-piece elements.
Figure 4 is an expanded view intended to show the mounting of the staircase at its upper end and at its lower end. Figure 5 is a detail view.
As can be seen from figure 1
of the drawings the helical staircase is formed of monobloc elements interconnected by interlocking and each comprising a step 1, a stringer element 2 and an element
3 of column (figure 1).
Each stringer element 2 with which the corresponding step 1 forms a body by molding is formed by a plate 4 (figure 2) which on its end faces
is provided with interlocking members cooperating with corresponding members of a neighboring stringer element.
In the embodiment according to Figure 2,
one of the end faces comprises at its center a conical notch 5 intended to receive a tongue 6 carried by the end face of the neighboring element 4;
it further comprises, in substance in the upper inner corner, and in the lower outer corner each time a notch 7-8 in the form of a groove intended to cooperate with projections 9-10 of the neighboring element.
As emerges from Figure 3, according to a variant one can provide on one of the end faces three superimposed conical notches 11-5-12 intended to cooperate with projections 13-6-14 of the end face of the 'neighbor element.
The one-piece element further comprises a block 3 intended to intervene in the formation of the column and formed of a cylindrical part 16 of which is integral a conical projection 17 provided with a rounded tip 18 intended to cooperate with a hollow 19 of shape corresponding to a neighboring element.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2 the conical projection 17 can be provided with ribs 20 starting from the top and terminating at the lower edge and cooperating with corresponding grooves 21 formed in the hollow 19 of the neighboring element.
In the case of figure 3 the projection 17
is provided on its outer face with a helical rib 22 cooperating with a helical groove 23 provided on
the inner face of the hollow 19 in order to allow a connection by screwing the element 3 with the neighboring element.
The staircase thus produced using
<EMI ID = 2.1>
in the recesses 19 of the elements and provided with a device for fixing to a wall or to the ceiling which may include
holes 25 for the passage of screws, bolts, etc ...
Downwards there is usually a plate
26 with conical projection 17 and fixing holes 27 to the ground.
In figure 6 we have shown block 28
end of the stringer fitted with a device for fixing to the ground (holes 29 in plate 30).
For the installation of each monobloc element, we proceed as follows s <EMI ID = 3.1>
Present the monoblock obliquely, column element 3 upwards in such a way that the stringer element 2 fits only on the tongue 6 of the previous element engaging in the female part.

parts 3 in order to present the three conical sockets 11, 5 and 12 in parts 13, 6 and 14 of the previous monoblock.
These monoblocks can be manufactured using any suitable plastic material.
One can use, for example, plastics called thermoplastic or thermosetting lightened or not lightened as well as synthetic products based on polyester or polyurethane (two-component).
