Abstract
Pastry is stored and sold in the form of raw pastry products e.g. 'croissants' and 'manchons', these are opt packed, and the pastry may be raised or not. Specif. the pastry contains yeast, milk, egg, salt and/or sugar, and is folded over with butter 2 or 3 times to give some flakiness. Chocolate bread or 'manchons' may also be produced.
