Abstract
The moulds and cores ared produced by filling the core boxes and frames with a mixt. which is self-hardening in air, contg. sand. an alkali(ne earth) metal- or ammonium lignosulphonate. as binder, and as hardener an alkali metal aluminate. This hardener gives quicker hardening and improved mechanical props of the moulds and cores.
