Abstract

Title compsns., which are useful in the bleaching industry or for dry-cleaning pre-treatment, contain (a) 5-40% non-ionic detergent comprising 5-15 units ethylene oxide condensed to a hydrophobic residue, (b) 25-80% active detergent additive; (c) 1-35% non toxic, non volatile, non inflammable organic solvent selected from (1) an ester of a mono basic carboxylic acid or a fully esterified polybasic carboxylic acid, the esters contg. 6-24C in the molecule and 6-8C in the ester residue, (2) esters of polyhydroxylated aliphatic alcohols contg. >=15C (3) aliphatic alcohols of about 10C. Pref. solvents are di-propyl or di butyl adipates.
