<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
,

<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

times at the end: i. té d 'el1tr'Óc' and At the output end, D 11U ::! 'The details ..' t particularities of the invention emerged from the description below, given by way of non-limiting example: and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a device according to the invention, with upper and lower closures.
Figure 2 is an axial sectional view of the device of Figure 1, along the plane II-II of Figure 3.
Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the device of Figure 2 along the plane III-III.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
. Figure 4 is a view of the device in axial section as in Figure 2, but without the cap and fitted to a paste dispenser, ready for use.
As shown in Figure 1, the device comprises an outer casing body part 1, provided with a lower collar 2 and having an upper closing cap 3 and a lower closing cap 4.
As shown in the sectional views of Figures 2, 3 and 4, the outer part of the device comprises the casing 1, which is provided at its top with a current-forming hole 5 and which is partially will close the base by the collar 2. The latter has a reduced part 7 which fits internally with respect to the skirt part 6 of the casing 1.
Also as shown in the sectional views of Figures 2, 3 and 4, the casing 1 receives an internal part 8, which is located against the internal face of the casing 1 by three cords or flats spaced peripherally 9. The cords 9 thus locate the internal part 8 to form an annular passage 12 extending around the internal part 8 from the lower end of the device up to the current-forming orifice 5,
The internal part 8 provides a chamber 13, which is loaded with the second pasty material, as shown in the sectional views. The lower end of the internal part 8 is open at 10, at a place where it faces the inlet opening of the device.
The upper end of the inner part 8 is narrowed to a core-forming port 11, which is coaxial with the current-forming port 5 and which is located below it.
In the example illustrated in the drawings, the inlet end of the device is designed to fit over the screw-type nozzle 14 of a collapsible dough-dispensing tube 15, to which it is shown attached to the nozzle. figure 4.
Therefore, in this embodiment, the collar 2 is provided with a corresponding internally threaded inlet opening 16 (see Fig. 2).
The closure plug 4 is provided with a corresponding external thread portion 17.

,
Prior to use, the device according to Figure 1 is assembled and the chamber 13 is loaded with the required amount of pasty core material. The top and bottom closures are then secured in-place until the device is to be used. When necessary, the closures are removed and the device fitted on a dough dispenser, as shown in Figure 4.
When dough is expelled from tube 15, it passes through passage 12 towards the current or jet forming orifice 5. At the same time, it exerts pressure at the location of the opening 10 on the second dough. in chamber 13, causing the latter to be expelled from the core-forming orifice 11. The core of second paste is surrounded by the first paste at the top of the passage 12 and the two together exit from the orifice 5 at as a single current with a core.
EMI4.1
Oven the fnci.Ht6 of 7ct handling ot of 7ncluptuCicn, 7rt body part 1 is fluted in 18, the collar 2 has hexagonal faces in 19 and the cap closure 4 is knurled in 20.
The proportion of core material distributed depends primarily on the size of the core-forming orifice 11 relative to the size of the current-forming orifice 5 and, to a lesser extent, on the size of the opening 10. determining the dimensions of the device, the proportion of core material to external stream material can be controlled. Further, by changing the position and dimensions of the core forming orifice 11 and the current forming orifice 5, the bore diameter of the outer stream material can be made larger than the diameter. of the core material, for example simply because of the thickness of the nozzle at the location of the core forming orifice 11.
Thus, if the outer stream or jet material is composed of a relatively firm pasty material, it will form a relatively stiff sleeve and the core material within the bore will come into contact with the surrounding material. over only about a quarter of its periphery or less. This characteristic has particular value. when the two materials are chemically incompatible or the core material is unstable or is otherwise affected by the atmosphere.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
The overall dimension of the device may depend on the size of the dough dispensing tube 15 and the amount of the second dough to be dispensed with it. Alternatively, various loads can be distributed consecutively.
The device can be molded with respect to its individual parts,] from a thermoplastic material or it can be made partially or totally from metal.
The term "paste" as used herein includes pasty materials such as creams or gels.
It should be understood that the present invention is in no way limited to the above embodiments and that many modifications can be made thereto without departing from the scope of the present patent.
