la fig. 1 est une vue en perspective du dispositif selon l'invention, équipé de fermetures au sommet et à la base;
Dispensing device for simultaneously delivering a first and a second pasty material in a single thread comprising a central core
The present invention relates to a dispensing device for simultaneously delivering a first and a second pasty material in a single thread comprising a central core, characterized in that it comprises an outer part and an inner part, the outer part comprising an end of 'inlet shaped to be attached to a distributor of the first pasty material and an outlet for the formation of the net, the inner part comprising a chamber for containing the second pasty material and having a hole for forming the core aligned with the orifice for forming the net, the inner and outer parts defining between them a passage path for the first pasty material,
extending from the inlet end to the net forming port.
The invention can thus be used to dispense materials which are chemically incompatible. One of these materials is thus incorporated in the first paste and the other in the second. The two pastes are not then mixed and are only combined when use requires it.
Another use is to deliver a core of active material into an inert excipient. The active material is introduced into the device, object of the invention, and the inert paste is placed in the tube to which the device is attached.
In each case, the chamber is filled with the second paste before use. It is thus convenient, according to the preferred embodiment of the invention, to provide closures of the device at the two inlet and outlet ends.
An embodiment will be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which:
fig. 1 is a perspective view of the device according to the invention, equipped with closures at the top and at the base;
fig. 2 is an axial section of the device of FIG. 1, according to the plane II-II of FIG. 3
fig. 3 is a cross section of the device of FIG. 2, according to plan III-III, and
fig. 4 a view of the device, in an axial section as in the case of FIG. 2, but after removing the closing plugs and fitting on a ready-to-use paste dispenser.
As shown in fig. 1, the device comprises a part 1 constituted by an outer shell body, fitted on a lower collar 2, having an upper closing cap 3 and a lower closing cap 4.
As shown in the sections of fig. 2, 3 and 4, the outer part of the device comprises the shell 1, which is provided at its top with an orifice 5 for forming the net and is partially closed, at the base, by the collar 2. The collar 2 has a recessed portion 7 which fits over the inner surface of the skirt portion 6 of the shell 1.
As also shown by the views of FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the shell 1 receives an internal part 8, which is located against the internal face of the shell 1 by three partitions 9 spaced apart on its periphery. The partitions 9 locate the inner part 8, to form an annular passage 12, extending around the inner part 8, from the lower end of the device to the hole 5 for forming the net.
The inner part 8 provides a chamber 13 which is filled with the second paste or the like, as shown in the sectional views. The bottom of the interior part 8 is open at 10 where it is opposite the inlet opening of the device. The upper end of the inner part 8 is tapered and connected to a hole 11 for forming the core, which is located in the axis and below the hole for forming the thread 5.
In the example shown in the drawing, the inlet end of the device is adapted to fit over the threaded nozzle 14 of the deformable paste dispenser tube, to which it is attached, as shown in FIG. 4.
Thus, in the embodiment, the collar 2 is provided with a corresponding inlet opening 16, threaded on its inner surface, as seen in FIG. 2.
The closure cap 4 is provided with a corresponding piece 17 externally threaded.
Before use, the device of FIG. 1 is assembled and the chamber 13 filled with the required quantity of paste or similar material constituting the core. The top and bottom closures are then attached until the device is to be used. When the device is to be used, the closures are removed and the device attached to a dough dispenser, as shown in fig. 4.
When the dough is squeezed out of the tube 15, it passes through a circulation path 12, to the orifice for forming the net. At the same time, it exerts a pressure at the opening 10, on the second paste of the chamber 13, causing the expulsion of the second paste from the orifice 11 for forming the core. The core formed by the second dough is surrounded by the first dough, at the top of the passageway 12, and the two doughs together exit from the orifice 5 in the form of a single centered thread.
For convenience, for the handling and adjustment of the device, the body of the part 1 is fluted at 18, the collar 2 has hexagonal faces 19, and the closure cap 4 is knurled at 20.
The proportion of the central material distributed depends mainly on the size of the hole 1 1 for forming the core relative to the size of the hole 5 for forming the thread and, to a lesser extent, on the size of the opening 10. By determining the dimensions of the device, the proportion of the core material to the outer material of the net can be controlled.
The overall size of the device may depend on the size of the first paste dispensing tube and the amount of the second paste to be dispensed with it.
Several loads can still be distributed consecutively.
The device can be molded, in its various parts, from thermoplastic materials or it can be made partially or entirely of metal.
The term paste, used in the description, includes all materials similar to pastes, such as creams or gels for example.
