Construction pour le parcage de véhicules automobiles.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
montre; il peut ainsi gagner un endroit libre quelconque sur l'aire de stationnement externe 3 ou éventuellement sur l'aire de stationnement interne additionnelle 7a après avoir suivi en tournant toujours dans le même sens, la rampe 7 sur un certain parcours;

Construction for the parking of motor vehicles.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The main patent relates to a construction for the parking of motor vehicles on a fixed helical parking area and comprising inside this parking area two fixed helical ramps, coaxial, in opposite directions, of the same pitch, placed side by side, serving one at the entry, the other at the exit of the vehicles and crossing at each half-turn where are located the stages of passage from one turn to the other, the center being occupied by a column in which are housed conduits, or other elements necessary for the operation or operation of the parking,
Due to the existence of a single parking area outside the ramps,
the built surface of this construction 'is not used to the maximum for parking, especially when the construction is large,
It is this drawback that the present invention aims to eliminate.
For this purpose, in a construction of the above type, according to the present improvement, it is planned to install around the central column, an additional parking area which, according to a particularity, is located inside the ramp internal of which it possesses the direction and the step.
The invention will be better understood from the following description of the appended drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a partial schematic perspective view of a construction made according to the invention.
As it appears in the figure, a construction according to the invention for parking motor vehicles comprises a central column, hollow, resistant, 9, in.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
which are the ventilation ducts, the various conduits essential for operation, an emergency staircase, an elevator, etc.
Around this column 9 and carried by it is an internal parking area 7a which extends in a helix along the entire height of the column. Next to and outside this area 7a is a helical ramp 7 which is in the same direction and in the same direction as said area; this area 7a and this ramp 7 are placed side by side. A vehicle brought by the ramp 7 can come and park at any free place in the area 78 ... Around the ramp 7 is another helical ramp 6, next to which is an external parking area 3 which is a helical surface having the same pitch and the same direction as said ramp 6 which is therefore side by side with the parking area 3. On this area 3 come to park the vehicles which are brought by the ramp 6.
The direction of this area 3 and of the corresponding access ramp 6 is the opposite of the direction of area 7a and of the corresponding access ramp 7. Being half that areas 3 and 7a and the corresponding access ramps 6 and 7 have the same pitches but are in opposite directions, they cross each other at each half-turn where exchange or passage bearings are formed such as 8.
At each of these levels it is possible to make a vehicle pass from ramp 6 to ramp 7 or vice versa and to reach the end of one or the other of parking areas 3 or 7a or the exit,
If the construction is performed below ground level, the entry and exit are located at the top of the construction and a vehicle entering 6a follows the ramp 6 which descends by turning counterclockwise.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
watch; he can thus gain any free space on the external parking area 3 or possibly on the additional internal parking area 7a after having followed, still turning in the same direction, the ramp 7 on a certain route;
by following this ramp 7 always in the same direction, a vehicle can finally reach the exit 7b.
The direction of movement on ramps 6 and 7 can also be reversed, as would be the case if the construction was built above ground; the entrance and exit are located. then at the bottom of the construction, of which the ramp 6 would be rising and the ramp 7 going down and the direction of movement would have the direction of rotation of clockwise.
A construction such as that which has just been described has the advantage of having a large capacity, of being fixed and of not having any moving parts, of being able to be built under a construction that has a large surface area to which it can be built. serve as a foundation or it can be erected above ground level.
