<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

"Attachment mechanism for agricultural implements, towed by tractor, such as harrows, plows and the like,"
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention relates to a hooking mechanism for agricultural implements dragged by tractor, such as harrows, back plows and the like.
Such tools, pulled by tractor. are generally attached by three points to the hydraulic lifting mechanism of a tractor, and for this purpose. the front part of the tool frame is provided with a traction frame, arranged transversely, facing upwards and which carries, at the bottom, a pair of tenons extending laterally from the upper part of the frame, tenons which fit into the holes provided in the lifting arms of the tractcor's usual drawbar, while at the bottom of the tool is provided a fork or a CALIPER, SERVATN to the coupling of the bar of higher pressure, forming part of the three-point attachment.
The traction frame which is used for the three-point attachment of the implement to the tractor is generally firmly connected to the implement frame, however, since harrows, plows and other agricultural implements - the generally move on the field both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction and, in general, in all directions so that the SOIL CAN be loosened effectively, it is very difficult to lift the tool, including including its working parts, set apart from the ground each time THE tractor changes direction and, as a result, THE tractor driver most often tries to change the direction of the tractor without lifting the implement.
However, given that the frame of the tool and the traction frame, used for coupling to the lifting mechanism of the tractor, form a rigid assembly opposing lateral movements, the so-called frame of the tool. til, including its correspon- ding working bodies, necessarily performs lateral movements in the soil during the change of direction of the tractor and the pressure stresses which occur so that these lateral movements can take place can attain importance. such that the tool frame or one of its working parts may break.
The hooking mechanism for agricultural implements, towed by tractor, have been made in different ways so that the said implements
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
can be hooked up to the hydraulic lifting mechanism of the tractor so that they are raised and lowered by the lifting mechanism and can move in the direction of travel of the tractor during the change of direction of the latter just like a trailer, while when lifted off the ground the implements are locked in this lifted position so as not to oscillate during transport to and from the workplace or during changes of direction of the tractor in the field.
However, all of these known hooking mechanisms have the disadvantage that the draw frame and the tool frame are executed as two separate sets which, in a known form of execution, are connected together. to each other by means of a bar-shaped traction member moving in the traction frame, while in another known embodiment they are articulated both to each other and to the usual tractor drawbar.
The invention aims to provide a hooking mechanism whose construction is simpler than that of known mechanisms and whose execution is less expensive although it is more resistant than known mechanisms. In addition, construction is carried out; so that the hooking mechanism can be used for all types of agricultural implements.
In addition, the traction frame and the corresponding part of the hooking mechanism can be made in one piece which can be welded or bolted to the frame of the envisaged tool. the hooking mechanism according to the invention SI.! characterized by the fact that the front part of the implement frame is provided with a fixed fork, oriented forwards and constituted by horizontal members, while the traction frame, hooked to the hydraulic lifting system of the tractor , carries at its lower part a fixed semi-circular guide bracket, directed towards the rear and which is also horizontal and slides into the fork in which it pivots by means of a vertical bolt, passing through the components horizontal d ,.
the fork and the hub of the guide calliper.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The implement is coupled in the usual way to the hydraulic lifting mechanism of the tractor-1 The only difference is that during the change of direction of the tractor the implement frame can freely pivot to the sides of the frame of traction hooked to the hydraulic lifting mechanism of the tractor, traction frame whose flat face always formed, in the transverse direction, a right angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tractor.
During transport to and from the field when the agricultural implement is lifted, it is advantageous that the implement frame and the pulling frame pivoting in the latter, are locked in relation to each other at the means of a blocking member. According to the invention, in one embodiment, the locking member can be formed by a ,! fork with two arms, the arms of which pass transversely through the fork of the frame of the tool in order to surround an arm, oriented radially from the hub to the periphery of the guide bracket.
However, the blocking member can also be executed in such a way that it can be actuated from the driver's seat of the tractor, while in another embodiment, it can be constituted by a member provided with arms, provided on the front of the traction frame and which can be moved up and down by means of a lever; during its lowering, the arms of the locking member extend along the front edge of the fork of the implement frame and rest on a transverse part of the traction frame.
One embodiment of the hooking mechanism, given by way of non-limiting example, is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 shows a side view of a harrow with elastic tines and the traction frame.
Fig. 2 is a plan view.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the tool's traction frame.
Fig. 4 is a view of the fork of the chassis of the tool, intended to support the traction frame.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
The mark t designates the frame of the harrow and 2 the elastic dnts, clamped on the said frame. At the rear, the frame of the tool is fitted with two wheels 3 which can be adjusted in height and thus determine the depth of penetration of the teeth.
At the front, the tool frame carried a fixed fork 4, oriented forwards and which, near the front end, is crossed by a vertical bolt 5 which serves to fix the frame of traction 6 so that the latter can pivot in the fork. Said traction frame is required to couple the agricultural implement to the hydraulic lifting mechanism of the tractor.
The fork 4 can be fixed by welding or by means of the bolts to the frame of the tool.
At the bottom, the traction frame 6 is provided with a pair of tenons 7, each of which extends towards one of the ribs of the frame ut which serve to couple the lifting arms 8 of the lifting mechanism. hydraulic tractor lifting.
The upper end of the traction frame forms a closed bracket 9 provided with several holes 10 receiving a transverse bolt which serves to fix one end of the upper pressure bar 11 forming part of the three-point attachment, while the other end of this pole is known to vote on the upper part of the rear part of the tractor body.
At the top, the traction frame 6 carries an upwardly facing tenon 12 to which can be hooked or otherwise attached a pair of stabilizing bars 13, oriented obliquely to the rear and whose end rear is firmly connected to the frame of the tool, At the bottom, the traction frame 6 is provided with a semi-circular guide bracket 14, oriented towards the rear, which fits into the remaining space between the horizontal members of the fork 4, provided on the frame of the tool, guide bracket which, controlling the implementation of the tool, acts as a rotating plate,: for said frame of the tool.
The pulling frame 6 and the frame 1 of the tool can be firmly locked in relation to each other by means of a locking device
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
special 15. As shown in FIG. 4, the latter can be constituted by a fork with d.! Ux arms whose arms pass through the fork of the chttssis of the tool, on either side: of a radial arm 16 which connects the hub to the periphery of semicircular guide stirrup 14.
During operation of the agricultural implement, dragged by the tractor, the blocking member 15 is removed from its blocked position and, therefore, the implement and the tractor can freely pivot one by one. sideways, just like a trailer hitched to the drawbar of a tractor. however, in opposition to such a trailer, coupled in the usual manner, and in accordance with the invention, the tool can be lifted up to the ground by means of the hooking mechanism described and by means of the lifting mechanism. tractor hydraulics; the said lifting mechanism, when it is implemented, lifting the tool entirely from the ground, as well as any other tool attached to the lifting mechanism.
So that in the raised position the tool cannot swing sideways, for example during the journey to and from the field, the locking member 15 is again placed in its locking position in which it is moved. Prevents the implement frame and the traction frame from pivoting relative to each other.
The locking member could also be constituted by a member with an arm provided on the front side of the traction arm 6 and which can be raised and lowered by means of a lever; as it is lowered, its arms extending along the front edge of the fork of the tool frame and resting on the lower, transversely oriented part of the traction frame, so that the latter does not pivot relative to the tool frame.
