La présente invention révèle un siège-couchette per- fectionné extrêmement robuste et simple, ne nécessitant qu'une surface respectivement en volume réduit et particulièrement adéquat pour être logé dans des compartiments de volume relative- ment peu important, tels que cabine de navire, de chemina de fer et similaires.
Un autre avantage d'un siège-couchette selon l'invention est de fournir, en position fermée, un siège extrêmement conforta- ble restant prêt à l'emploi et ne nécessitant qu'une surface, respectivement un volume, restreint.
Un autre avantage d'un siège-couchette selon l'invention est de fournir une couchette dont aucune partie n'est en contact avec le siège.

Un siège-couchette perfectionne selon l'invention est substantiellement constitué par un élément fixe formant siège, un élément mobile formant dossier pivoté sur ledit élément fixe, la face dorsale dudit élément mobile étant pourvue d'une couchette ledit élément fixe et ledit élément mobile étant conditionnée pour supporter élastiquement ladite couchette, cette dernière étant en position rabattue.
Pour plus de clarté un exemple d'exécution d'un siège-couchette conforme à l'invention sera donné ci-après réfé- rence faite aux dessins annexés dans lesquels! la figure 1 représente une vue en élévation avec coupe partielle d'un siège-couchette conforme à l'invention en posi- tion fermée; la figure 2 représente une vue en élévation du siège représenté à la figure 1, ce dernier étant en position ouverte.
Le siège-couchette est constitué par un élément fixe 1 constitué par un soubassement 2. et un élément 1 constitué, par exemple, par de la mousse de latex ou similaire et présentant une section transversale généralement en forme de coin.
Ledit soubassement 2 peut être conditionné de manière à former volume de rangement. A cette fin il peut être équipé de tiroirs (non représentés).
Sur ledit élément 1 est monté un élément mobile 4 consti- tué par un cadre entourant un élément 5, réalisé en mousse de latex ou similaire, ledit élément 4 étant pivoté autour de son -arête ;6. sur ledit élément fixe 1.
La face dorsale 7 dudit élément 4 présente une largeur sensiblement supérieure à oelle dudit élément 1 en manière telle qu'elle puisse supporter un matelas 6 localisé par un encadre- ment ± fixé à ladite paroi dorsale 7.
Un sanglage 10 peut être aménagé dans l'espace délimité par ledit encadrement ± et ladite face dorsale 2, et à faible

distance de celle-ci, le matelas .6 reposant alors sur ledit sanglage 10. Un des côtés longitudinaux dudit encadrement .2 reçoit l'extrémité 11 d'une ou de plusieurs sangles élastiques 12 dont l'extrémité libre 13 est pourvue d'un crochet 14 et destinées à maintenir le couchage dans ledit encadrement 9, ledit crochet 14 étant engagé dams une ouverture aménagée sur le coté opposé dudit encadrement 9 lorsque l'ensemble est destiné à former siège.
Ladite sangle élastique 12 peut également servir comme dispositif de sécurité, plus particulièrement pour mainte- nir ledit élément mobile! contre ledit élément fixe 1, l'ensem- ble étant en position couchette. Dans l'exemple représenté, un logement 15 est aménagé dans une paroi 12 le long de laquelle es' disposé le siège-couchette en manière telle que la partie couchet te de ce dernier soit entièrement escamotée. L'ensemble étant en position siège, ladite face dorsale 10 est réalisée en manière telle qu'aucune solution de continuité n'apparaisse dans la face apparente de ladite cloison 16. Une des caractéristiques du siège-couchette conforme à l'invention réside dans le fait qu'en position couchette l'élément fixe 1 et l'élément mobile 4 jouent le rôle de sommier élastique pour ledit matelas 8.
Dans une autre réalisation, l'élément 1 peut être condi- tionné de manière à pouvoir pivoter autour dudit axe 6 lorsque l'ensemble est en position "siège". De cette manière, l'encombre- ment dudit ensemble peut encore être réduit, ce qui peut être particulièrement intéressant dans certains cas.
Dans une autre réalisation enfin, ledit élément 2. et ledit élément! seront dotés de formes et dimensions identiques ce qui entraîne une fabrication plus aisée et moins onéreuse dudit ensemble siège-couchette.
Par ces dispositions on obtient un siège extrêmement confortable établi aux meilleures nonnes tandis que, par une simple traction sur le dossier dudit siège, une large couchette

An improved sleeper seat according to the invention is substantially constituted by a fixed element forming a seat, a mobile element forming a backrest pivoted on said fixed element, the dorsal face of said mobile element being provided with a bunk, said fixed element and said mobile element being conditioned to elastically support said bunk, the latter being in the folded position.
For greater clarity, an exemplary embodiment of a sleeper seat in accordance with the invention will be given below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which! FIG. 1 is a partial sectional elevational view of a sleeper seat according to the invention in the closed position; FIG. 2 represents an elevational view of the seat shown in FIG. 1, the latter being in the open position.
The sleeper seat consists of a fixed element 1 consisting of a base 2. and an element 1 consisting, for example, of latex foam or the like and having a generally wedge-shaped cross section.
Said base 2 can be packaged so as to form a storage volume. For this purpose it can be equipped with drawers (not shown).
On said element 1 is mounted a movable element 4 constituted by a frame surrounding an element 5, made of latex foam or the like, said element 4 being pivoted around its edge; 6. on said fixed element 1.
The dorsal face 7 of said element 4 has a width substantially greater than that of said element 1 in such a way that it can support a mattress 6 located by a frame ± fixed to said dorsal wall 7.

Said elastic strap 12 can also serve as a safety device, more particularly to hold said movable element! against said fixed element 1, the assembly being in the berth position. In the example shown, a housing 15 is provided in a wall 12 along which the sleeper seat is arranged in such a way that the sleeper part of the latter is fully retracted. The assembly being in the seat position, said dorsal face 10 is produced in such a way that no solution of continuity appears in the visible face of said partition 16. One of the characteristics of the sleeper seat according to the invention resides in the that in the berth position the fixed element 1 and the movable element 4 act as an elastic base for said mattress 8.
In another embodiment, the element 1 may be conditioned so as to be able to pivot about said axis 6 when the assembly is in the "seat" position. In this way, the size of said assembly can be further reduced, which can be particularly advantageous in certain cases.
Finally, in another embodiment, said element 2. and said element! will have identical shapes and dimensions which results in easier and less expensive manufacture of said seat-sleeper assembly.
