Une telle disposition a d'une part, comme avantage, qu'on réalise une lubrification de l'arbre d'entraînement et d'autre part, que le feutre imbibé d'huile se gonfle, serrant de ce fait plus étroitement l'arbre d'entraînement et augmentant encore la qualité de l'étanchéité.

En se référant plus particulièrement à ce dessin on peut y voir un élément directeur 1 destiné à diriger l'écoulement des matières traitées par un élément broyeur 2 en forme d'hélice (représenté en traits mixtes). Cet élément broyeur 2 est monté sur un arbre 3 (également représenté en traits mixtes) qui . traverse l'élément directeur 1 et est entraîné par le moteur (non représenté) de l'appareil dont font partie les éléments broyeur et directeur.
L'arbre 3 est guidé à l'intérieur de l'élément directeur 1 dans une buselure ou coussinet 4 en une<matière convenable telle que bronze, laiton, .... matières synthétiques, .... Cette buselure 4 présente une rainure intérieure dans laquelle est logé un anneau d'étanchéité 5 en une matière qui absorbe les liqui- des, telle que du feutre. Cet anneau de feutre est imbibé d'huile, ce qui a pour effet de le faire gonfler et par conséquent d'être serré plus fortement sur 1' arbre 3. Cette caractéristique améliore ainsi davantage la qualité de l'étan- chéité afin d'empêcher toute remontée de liquide le long de l'arbre sous l'effet; du brassage exercé par l'élément broyeur 2 et de la pression statique des ma- tières traitées.
Il est évident que l'invention n'est pas exclusivement limitée à la forme d'exécution décrite ci-dessus à titre d'exemple et que diverses modifica- tions peuvent être apportées dans la disposition, la constitution et l'angencement de certains détails intervenant dans sa réalisation, à condition que ces modifi- cations ne soient pas en contradiction avec l'objet de chacune des revendications suivantes.

The shaft 3 is guided inside the director element 1 in a nozzle or bush 4 made of a suitable material such as bronze, brass, .... plastics, .... This nozzle 4 has a groove interior in which is housed a sealing ring 5 made of a material which absorbs liquids, such as felt. This felt ring is soaked in oil, which causes it to swell and therefore to be clamped more strongly on the shaft 3. This feature thus further improves the quality of the seal in order to prevent any liquid rising along the shaft under the effect; the stirring exerted by the grinding element 2 and the static pressure of the treated materials.
It is evident that the invention is not exclusively limited to the embodiment described above by way of example and that various modifications may be made in the arrangement, constitution and arrangement of certain details. intervening in its realization, provided that these modifications do not contradict the object of each of the following claims.
