Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc / Clms Page number 1>
The present invention relates to a scooter or a tricycle of particular design intended to be used for transporting people, for example in exhibitions.
The goal is to make it possible to make the sometimes long and tiring trips, in good conditions of comfort and if necessary while remaining sheltered from bad weather.
This tricycle or scooter is essentially characterized in that it comprises forward a support for one or more seats located above the front wheels.
In the practical embodiment of the invention, the seat or seats are formed by frames resting on the forks. And the upper bar of these frames is integral with a driving handlebar. @
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
On the uprights of the seat frames are articulated frames which can be folded outwards to allow support and be coupled together after the people have taken their places on the seats.
In order to make the invention clearly understood, an exemplary embodiment thereof will be described below with reference to the drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the entire vehicle.
Figure 2 is intended to illustrate the means that can be used for the protection of users.
The vehicle frame comprises a rear part 1 similar to that of a moped and a front part formed of two parallel tubes 2 articulated for example by a dial on two parallel transverse tubes 3 integral with the forks 4 mounted on the front axle 5.
Above the wheels is provided a frame comprising in particular a horizontal upper bar 7, three folded tubes 8 constituting the frame of one or more seats and a backrest and two vertical uprights 9 connected by one or more cross members 10 and descending to a little above the ground.
The seat and backrest which are not shown can be made in any suitable way (wooden bars, plastic wires, etc.)
On the upper bar 7 is fixed a handlebar 11 maneuvered by the driver seated on the saddle 12.
Vertical mgntants 9 are integral ues sleeves 13 in which are mounted so as to tilt outward vertical rods 14 forming part of two front frames comprising in particular bars 15 folded forward and connected by branches 16 to which are fixed from footrests 17, to horizontal bars 19.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The frames 14-19 can be brought into the position shown at C to allow a person to take a seat in the front seats.
In the position shown in C1, the two frames 14-19 are coupled together by any appropriate connecting means (reference 18).
Sitting on the seats, users are thus comfortably seated and their movements can be carried out very pleasantly.
On the front frames can be mounted boxes or equivalent elements 20 serving as protection for the lower part of the body.
On the other hand, (Fig. 2) on the arms of the seats can be mounted a tent 21 which is provided on its rear face with a window 22 in a location allowing the driver to see the way to go.
