The present invention relates to a traction device particularly aimed at the drive wheels of vehicles used for off-road work, such as tractors, jeeps, trucks, etc. It is shown diagrammatically with its mode of operation and attachment to the body. wheel. However, the principles used in the present claim retain their values for all uses of these principles in the construction of adhesion devices other than the model described below. The invention will be described with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings which show by way of nonlimiting examples an embodiment of the invention.

6 represents five 30 x 10 studs, 76 m / m long, welded perpendicularly to a ring (4) tangent internally.
7 shows a plate outside diameter 190 m / m, inside diameter 110 m / m; thickness 4 m / m, welded to the vertical studs (6) placed tangentially and against the outer edge of the crown (4).
8 shows two 23 m / m diameter holes in the ring (7).
9 represents three holes diameter 15 m / m in the ring (7).
The system formed by these rings (B Fig. I) is fixed to the two studs (3) by means of two 3/4 "bolts.
Referring to Figure II. m / m. 10 represents two angles 40 x 40, thickness 5 m / m: length 70 m / mo

the axis (13).
13 shows the pivot axis and holes.
14 shows a hole of 8 m / m to allow the possible passage of a pin, allowing the setting of the system.
15 represents two 9 m / m holes and two bolts allowing the fixing of the removable part (18) 0
16 represents two 26 x 30 4 m / m studs welded to the stud (12) with two 2 1/2 m / m holes for passage of the spring hooks (17) 0
17 shows two springs 12 m / m, length 51 m / m, which have the function of recalling and maintaining the system in its two respective positions.
18 represents a block 40 x 80 m / m, thickness 10 m / m flared in its middle, at approximately, 30 depending on its width o Operation By way of example, drawing A 'Fig I., represents a single crampon, the other crampons will be fixed in the same position over the entire circumference of the rings, 1 and 2, their number being non-limiting, depending on the type of vehicle The device shown is adaptable to a wheel with a 600 x 160 tire The crampon shown in the working position exceeds in unlimited measures the size of the tire, clings to the ground and thus avoids the slipping of the driving wheel, on wet ground, or wet by rain, snow, etc ...
To put the device out of work, take the crampon by its end (18) and fold it inwards, that is to say turned 180 around the pivot axis (13). The springs (17) keep the crampon constantly and securely in both positions (working or out of work).
In drawing D, Fig. II a timing pin (14) is shown, but practically this pin is only used on terrain where there is a danger of the vehicle slipping. In the non-working position, the device no longer has any contact with the ground, the circle 1 having a diameter smaller than that of the wheel. The vehicle can therefore travel on the road without removing its devices, it suffices to fold the studs inwards. This invention is adapted to the two-wheel drive of the vehicle.
On certain four-wheel drive vehicles, the devices can be adapted without modification on front wheels or on rear wheels o To avoid lifting the grass, the removable part (18) i.e. the part that penetrates into the ground a the end flared from its middle to about 30 depending on its width o This part (18) can be replaced at will by different measures according to need, it can also be replaced by a rigid rubber part o For adaptation, the so-called intermediate part (drawing B, Fig.
Io) adapts directly to the rim fixing studs, and receives the entire device by means of its two bolts (5) The device can therefore be adapted and removed in record time without having to remove the system. 'adaptation,,
Note that the adapter piece B, the device as a whole, and its crosspieces (3), will have dimensions and shapes that vary according to each type of vehicle. For certain vehicles, the cross members (3) will be replaced by a plate bolted directly to part B.
