La présente invention est relative à un étui pour des objets allongés, tels que des aiguilles, poinçons,mèches et analogues, comprenant un boîtier pourvu d'un couvercle à glissiè- res.
Elle a pour but la réalisation d'un étui proté- geant efficacement les objets qui y sont contenus et, en même temps, permettant de choisir et de saisir aisément l'un ou l'autre de ces objets, selon le besoin.
A cet effet, dans l'étui selon l'invention, le boîtier a la forme d'un plateau et présente sur sa face interne, normalement recouverte par le couvercle, un ou, de préférence, plu- sieurs logements en forme de rainures et s'étendant jusqu'au moins

un côté latéral du boîtier, parallèle au sens de déplacement du couvercle et recouvert, lorsque l'étui est fermé, par un épaulement solidaire du bord latéral du couvercle.
Selon une forme particulière de réalisation, cha- cun des deux bords latéraux du couvercle est pourvu d'un épaulement; ces épaulements, lorsque l'étui est fermé, recouvrent les deux cô- tés latéraux du boîtier et coopèrent avec ces derniers pour former des glissières s'étendant d'un bout à l'autre de l'étui, de sorte que celui-ci peut être ouvert de l'un ou de l'autre côté.
D'autre part, le couvercle est pourvu d'au moins une loupe cylindrique, disposée de préférence parallèlement aux logements et permettant, lorsqu'elle est amenée par le déplacement du couvercle au-dessus d'un logement, d'examiner d'un coup d'oeil, sur toute sa longueur, l'objet contenu dans ce logement.
D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention ressortiront de la description des dessihs annexés au présent mé- moire et qui représentent, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une forme particulière de réalisation de l'objet de l'invention.

un boîtier 1 et un couvercle 2. Le boîtier 1 a la forme d'un pla- teau s'emboîtant complètement dans le couvercle 2. La face interne 3 du boîtier 1 présente une série de logements 4, ayant, la forme de rainures et s'étendant jusqu'au côté latéral 5 recouvert, lors- que l'étui est fermé, par un épaulement 6 solidaire du.-bord laté- ral du couvercle 2.
Dans le cas particulier de réalisation de l'élue représenté à la figure 1, l'extrémité 7 des logements 4 est seule, ouverte ; l'autre extrémité 8, se trouvant près du côté latéral 9, est fermée. Cette dernière est destinée à recevoir les pointes 10 des objets 11, par exemple d'aiguilles, placés dans les logements 4. Pour éviter la détérioration des pointes 10, les logements 4 présentent un étranglement 12 enserrant l'objet 11 et le maintenant à distance du fond 13 du logement 4.
D'autre part, la face interne 3 du boîtier 1 pré- sente un évidement 14 s'étendant d'un bord frontal 15 à l'autre bord frontal 16 du boîtier 1.
Une étiquette 17, signalant les caractéristiques des objets 11, est fixée dans l'évidement 14. Elle s'étend par- dessus les logements 4 et empêche les' objets 11, contenus dans ces logements, d'en sortir autrement que par le côté latéral 5.
Dans le cas particulier de réalisation de l'étui représenté à la figure 4, l'étiquette 17, signalant les caractéris- tiques des objets 11 contenus dans les logements 4, est placée dans un évidement 18 plus profond que les logements 4. L'étiquette 17 s'étend, par conséquent, en dessous des objets 11 et est main- tenue en place par ces derniers. D'autre part, elle laisse visibles les objets 11 sur toute leur longueur.et facilite ainsi le décèle- ment des défauts éventuels.
Dans le cas particulier de réalisation représenté aux dessins, le couvercle 2 est pourvu de deux épaulements, l'un 6, l'autre 19.

@ Ces épaulements sont découpés en queue d'aronde, comme les côtés latéraux 5 et 9 du boîtier 1 et coopèrent avec ces derniers en formant des glissières s'étendant d'un bout à l'autre de l'étui, de sorte que ce dernier peut être ouvert de deux côtés.
Le couvercle 2 est également pourvu de deux ergots
20 situés sur sa face interne et qui, lorsque le couvercle se dé- place, engrènent avec les logements 4, le sommet de ces ergots 20 'frottant contre la face interne 3 du boîtier 1.
Le couvercle 2 est pourvu de deux loupes cylindri- ques 21 et 22, disposées parallèlement aux logements 4. Elles sont destinées à faciliter la lecture des caractéristiques inscrites sur l'étiquette 17 et à permettre l'examen de l'état des objets
11, notamment des pointes 10 et des talons 23. En même temps, étant disposées près des bords frontaux 24 et 25 du couvercle 2, les loupes 21 et 22 servent de points d'appui au moment de l'ouverture de l'étui.
Selon la réalisation avantageuse représentée aux dessins, le couvercle 2 et les loupes 21 et 22 sont réalisées en une matière plastique transparente et sont par conséquent coulées ensemble.
Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'est nulle- ment limitée aux formes de réalisation décrites et que bien des modifications peuvent être apportées à ces dernières sans sortir du cadre du présent brevet.

The present invention relates to a case for elongated objects, such as needles, punches, drill bits and the like, comprising a case provided with a sliding cover.
Its aim is to produce a case that effectively protects the objects contained therein and, at the same time, making it possible to easily choose and grasp one or other of these objects, as needed.
To this end, in the case according to the invention, the case has the shape of a tray and has on its internal face, normally covered by the cover, one or, preferably, several slots in the form of grooves and extending to at least

a lateral side of the case, parallel to the direction of movement of the cover and covered, when the case is closed, by a shoulder integral with the lateral edge of the cover.
According to a particular embodiment, each of the two lateral edges of the cover is provided with a shoulder; these shoulders, when the case is closed, cover the two lateral sides of the case and cooperate with the latter to form slides extending from one end of the case to the other, so that the latter can be opened from either side.
On the other hand, the cover is provided with at least one cylindrical magnifying glass, preferably arranged parallel to the housings and allowing, when it is brought by the movement of the cover above a housing, to examine from a glance, along its entire length, the object contained in this housing.
Other details and particularities of the invention will emerge from the description of the drawings appended to the present memorandum and which represent, by way of nonlimiting example, a particular embodiment of the subject of the invention.

a housing 1 and a cover 2. The housing 1 has the form of a plate which fits completely into the cover 2. The internal face 3 of the housing 1 has a series of housings 4, having the shape of grooves and extending as far as the lateral side 5 covered, when the case is closed, by a shoulder 6 integral with the lateral edge of the cover 2.
In the particular embodiment of the chosen one represented in FIG. 1, the end 7 of the housings 4 is alone, open; the other end 8, located near the lateral side 9, is closed. The latter is intended to receive the tips 10 of the objects 11, for example needles, placed in the housings 4. To prevent damage to the tips 10, the housings 4 have a constriction 12 enclosing the object 11 and keeping it at a distance. bottom 13 of housing 4.
On the other hand, the internal face 3 of the housing 1 has a recess 14 extending from one front edge 15 to the other front edge 16 of the housing 1.
A label 17, indicating the characteristics of the objects 11, is fixed in the recess 14. It extends over the housings 4 and prevents the 'objects 11, contained in these housings, from coming out other than by the side. lateral 5.
In the particular embodiment of the case shown in FIG. 4, the label 17, indicating the characteristics of the objects 11 contained in the housings 4, is placed in a recess 18 which is deeper than the housings 4. The label 17 therefore extends below the objects 11 and is held in place by the latter. On the other hand, it leaves the objects 11 visible over their entire length and thus facilitates the detection of any faults.
In the particular embodiment shown in the drawings, the cover 2 is provided with two shoulders, one 6, the other 19.

@ These shoulders are cut in a dovetail, like the lateral sides 5 and 9 of the housing 1 and cooperate with the latter by forming slides extending from one end of the case to the other, so that this last can be opened from two sides.
The cover 2 is also provided with two lugs

The cover 2 is provided with two cylindrical magnifying glasses 21 and 22, arranged parallel to the housings 4. They are intended to facilitate the reading of the characteristics written on the label 17 and to allow the examination of the state of the objects.
