D'autres particularités de l'invention seront encore décrites ci-après avec référence au dessin annexé à ce mémoire, lequel représente, à titre d'exemple uniquement,, une forme d'exécution d'un foyer-buffet perfectionné conformément à l'invention. Dans ce dessin;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

IMPROVEMENT AT FIREPLACES-BUFFETS.
It has already been proposed in the manufacture of hearth buffets to have the cooking oven directly above the hearth. Thanks to this arrangement, the oven can be efficiently heated on all four sides.
The present invention relates to a hearth-buffet of this type and it is characterized in that the bottom of the oven is constituted by a double wall traversed by a current of air drawn in from the front part of the appliance and escaping. laterally inside it.
In this way, a sort of recovery is achieved which, while avoiding any rapid deterioration of the parts of the heating apparatus, eliminates the danger of an excess of temperature in the bottom of the latter and at the same time increases the heating surface and consequently the efficiency and the heating capacity of the buffet fireplace.
Other features of the invention will be further described below with reference to the drawing appended to this specification, which shows, by way of example only, an embodiment of an improved fireplace buffet in accordance with invention. In this drawing;
Fig. 1 gives a half-view in elevation and a half-section broken by I-I of FIG. 2, which is a section through II-II of FIG. 1.
In the heating device shown in the accompanying drawing, the cooking oven 1 is arranged between the hearth 2 and the plate 3 on which the utensils to be heated are placed.
The oven 1, provided in a known manner with one or more shelves such as 4, has a floor consisting of two walls 5 and 6, delimiting between them a chamber 7, provided with openings 8 opening onto the front face of the oven. fireplace buffet and openings 9 in connection by a pipe 10 with a pipe 11 opening out to the upper part of side compartments 12 formed by the outer casing 13 of the heating device.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The hot gases from the hearth 2 thus directly contact the lower wall 6 of the chamber 7 forming the recuperator and strongly heat the fresh air which, following the path indicated by the arrows, is drawn into this chamber through the openings 8 and pn exits through openings 9.
The air thus heated then passes from the compartments 12 into the room or the room to be heated through slots judiciously formed in the casing 13.
Thus, while moderating the quantity of heat transferred to the bottom of the furnace 1 by the very hot gases rising directly from the hearth, this arrangement makes it possible to recover the excess heat to heat the air which will spread directly into the furnace. room to be heated.
It would obviously be possible to print the fresh air having to pass through the chamber 7 in a reverse direction, that is to say bring into the latter through the pipe 14, which plunges towards the bottom of the compartments 12, fresh air which will exit heated by the frontal openings 8. The pipe 14, like moreover the pipe 11, will have the effect of activating the circulation thanks to the difference in level existing between the inlet and the outlet of the air.
It would moreover be possible to promote this air circulation in the chamber 7 by extending the oven 1 towards the rear while raising the position of the outlet openings 9 with respect to:. Inlet openings 8. Not only this circulation would thus be activated, but the heating surface would be increased.
According to yet another variant, the recovery chamber 7 can open into the same oven 1 thanks to a part 15 starting from the bottom of the chamber 7 and opening at 16 in the oven, hot air coming from said chamber. will then escape through one or more adjustable openings 17 drilled in the front wall of the oven.
The hot gases deflected laterally by the double-walled hearth of the furnace 1 rising in lateral ducts 23 along the vertical walls of the latter to then spread out under the plate 3 before being sucked in by the chimney 18.
The hearth-buffet according to the invention comprises two loading hoppers for the fuel opening into the thickness of the plate 3 and each communicating with a supply channel 19 arranged on either side of the chimney 18.
Against the rear wall of the furnace in the charcoal channels 19 there is provided a pipe 20 which, starting from under the plate 3, ends under the chamber 7. It serves in a known manner to collect the distillation gases and to direct them towards the chamber. combustion zone of the fireplace. Hot air coming from the chamber 7 could on the other hand be taken to facilitate at 21 at the orifice of the pipe 20, for example, the complete combustion of the distillation gases.
By optionally varying the quality of the fuel used, flaming or anthracite, the operation of the appliance as a stove and as a heating hearth will be ensured in the best conditions.
It is understood that adjustment members, such as side-operated shutters make it possible to adjust both operating speeds, in particular by allowing more intense heating on the right than on the left, or vice versa, at will. On the other hand, an operating lever 22 makes it possible to act on a shutter 24 which normally closes a duct 25 ′ directly connecting the fireplace 2 to the chimney 18.
A cover 26 which can be hinged laterally to the left and to the right covers the whole of the ta, which by doubling the surface of the work table. It is also possible to provide a cover in one piece forming pargrease and rising towards the rear.
