<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
dans les dessins ci-joints, dans lesquels : la fig. 1 est une coupe d'un pot à filer à force centrifuge mu- ni d'un guide-fil construit suivant l'invention; les figures 2 et 3 sont respectivement une coupe longitudinale et un plan du guide-fil; la figure-4 est une vue de l'extrémité inférieure du guide-fil construit suivant un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention;* les figures 5, 6, 7 et 8 sont respectivement une élévation, une coupe longitudinale, ainsi qu'une vue d'au. haut et une vue d'en bas d'un troisième mode de réalisation du guide-fil;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

DEVICE FOR EQUALIZING THE THREAD DURING ITS TORSION IN SPINNING LAMPS INCLUDING A CENTRIFUGAL FORCE SPINNING BENCH.
In the centrifugal force spinning of textile fibers in general and especially in the centrifugal force spinning of hard, long and irregular bast fibers and leaves, such as flax, tow, hemp, hemp. Sisal, etc., equalization of the wire during its twisting is necessary in many cases.
To this end, the object of the invention is to create a device which is characterized in that friction surfaces are arranged between the drawing bench and the spinning bench by centrifugal force and are applied continuously on the yarn in formation path, then acting on this wire from several different sides and at least from two opposite sides, guiding it preferably on a path going in a slight winding or interrupted in a zig-zag.
The friction surfaces, which can be established in different ways and have different shapes, are arranged on the machine frame, or they are carried by some yarn guide, introduced into the spinning pot and upright and descending.
According to a preferred embodiment, the friction surfaces are formed by narrow transverse pins, fixed or rotatably mounted in a tubular yarn guide of a type known per se, equidistant or distributed at different distances, generally decreasing from top to bottom. low over the entire length of the thread guide, preferably lying in planes parallel to each other and perpendicular to the axis of the thread guide and having different directions, so as to intersect, in plan, in accordance with the projection the axis of the thread guide.
Some embodiments of the invention are shown
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a section through a centrifugal force spinning pot fitted with a yarn guide constructed according to the invention; Figures 2 and 3 are respectively a longitudinal section and a plane of the yarn guide; Figure-4 is a view of the lower end of the yarn guide constructed according to another embodiment of the invention; * Figures 5, 6, 7 and 8 are respectively an elevation, a longitudinal section, as well as a view of. top and bottom view of a third embodiment of the thread guide;
Figures 9 and 10 are respectively a longitudinal section and a plan of another embodiment of the yarn guide.
In the figures, 20 and 2 denote a spinning pot rotating of a spinning bench with centrifugal force. An ascending and descending tubular yarn guide, of a type known per se, is mounted in this spinning pot.
The yarn guide 11 has a number of superimposed internal transverse pegs 12 mounted fixed or rotatably, equidistant or rotatably arranged at different distances, preferably decreasing slightly from top to bottom, and distributed over the entire length. length of the thread guide in such a way that the thread F being formed continuously applies to these pegs under a slight pressure, slides and rubs thereon, while at the same time being obliged to follow a slightly winding path (fig.
4). In order to be able to detach the wire F uniformly and to obtain a friction and equalizing action distributed uniformly over the entire surface of the wire, the axes of the dowels 12 are preferably in planes parallel to each other, but they have different directions, so as to cross, in plan, in the middle of the tubular yarn guide II (fig. 2,3,7 and 10). The superimposed pegs 12 also have a diameter that decreases slightly from top to bottom.
The wire F is guided between the pegs 12 so that its serpentine path has a three-dimensional shape, flattening further downwards, the rubbing and leveling action being exerted on several sides. on the thread and going decreasing from top to bottom as the thread is twisted.
It is obvious that the pegs 12 can be replaced wholly or partially by rollers, rollers or cylinders mounted to rotate, or by friction surfaces of any shape and arrangement, depending on the nature of the fiber to be spun.
To serve as a friction and leveling surface for the wire F during its twisting, the lower edge of the wire guide 11 itself can also be used, but then there must be at least one other surface. friction placed higher, for example, at least one transverse pin 12.
, ¯In this case the lower opening of the thread guide 11 must be so shaped that abrupt changes in the direction of the thread, suppressing the twist, are avoided. To this end, the outlet opening 13 of the thread guide 11 has a funnel-shaped leading part 14, as well as a lower enlargement 15, also funnel-shaped, the generatrices of which are convex towards inside and which is followed in a continuous manner, that is to say without formation of corners, by the central opening 13 and the rounded lower edge 16 of the thread guide (fig. 2 and 9) .
The lower, funnel-shaped widening of the outlet opening of the yarn guide 10 may be continuous, that is to say that its interior delimiting surfaces may be solid (fig. 2 and 9), or it can also be constituted by individual coaxial and superimposed rings
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
115,215 having rounded interior ridges and interior diameters continuously increasing from top to bottom (fig. 4 to 8). These rings can be formed by internal annular appendages or ribs 115 of the thread guide 10 itself (fig. 4), or they can be supported by a part 315 in the form of an attached cage (fig. 4). 5, 6 and 8), attached to the lower end of the thread guide.
In any case the rings 115,
215 form, like the continuous funnel-shaped widening 15 of the outlet opening, a succession of gradually widening bearing surfaces, on which the yarn being formed rubs against it. and which cause this thread to come out of the thread guide without producing any breaks, the direction of movement of the thread in the thread guide, a direction which in principle vertical, changing continuously and gradually into a direction of movement which is in principle horizontal outside the thread guide.
To reduce the friction of the thread in accordance with the particularly delicate point of its exit out of the thread guide, the part which forms the lower end of the thread guide 11, which end forms the outlet opening 13 and / or the funnel-shaped enlargement 15, 315 of this opening, can be mounted to rotate about the axis of the yarn guide.
In special cases, the nature of the fiber to be spun may require wetting of the material to be spun during twisting. For this purpose, according to the invention, the yarn guide II comprises a sprinkling device constituted, according to a preferred embodiment, (fig. 9 and 10), by an annular chamber 17 disposed in the tubular body 11 a little above the outlet opening 23. provided with a ring of internal jets 18 and connected to a liquid reservoir by a pipe 19.
