APPAREIL OBTURATEUR A SIPHON POUR CONDUITE DE LIQUIDE.
La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil obturateur à si- phon se branchant sur une conduite pour le transport de liquide et spéciale- ment sur une conduite d'égouts.
Dans les habitations il est prévu de placer des siphons disconnec- teurs ou des appareils analogues sur les conduites d'égouts; ces appareils sont conçus pour permettre l'évacuation vers l'égout des eaux d'infiltration se trouvant dans les caves. Les appareils actuels présentent-cependant un grave inconvénient qui consiste en ce que, lors des inondations, les eaux des égouts refluent dans les caves en les traversant.
Ces eaux sont, non seulement désagréables par les odeurs et dépbts qu'elles provoquent, mais aussi dangereuses, étant donné les germes de maladies qu'elles contiennent.
La présente invention ayant pour but de remédier à cet inconvé- nient consiste en un appareil constitué par un corps comprenant un moyen de fermeture de l'orifice de passage entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du corps et fonctionnant sous l'effet de la pression du liquide dans la conduite et un moyen permettant d'amener du liquide de l'extérieur vers l'intérieur du corps.
Suivant une particularité, le moyen de fermeture de l'orifice de passage est un flotteur de part et d'autre duquel s'étend une tige de guidage qui traverse une entretoise solidaire du corps et une entretoise solidaire de l'orifice, elle est aussi pourvue d'une butée d'arrêt sur sa partie infé- rieure.
Suivant une autre caractéristique,l'orifice de passage est entou- ré d'un siège en caoutcnouc sur lequel vient s'appuyer le flotteur formant soupape; cet orifice est ménagé dans une tête amovible adaptable sur le corps proprement dit et ayant la forme d'une cuvette fermée par un couvercle percé de trous.

De plus, l'orifice dans le fond de la cuvette est entouré par un rebord qui coopère avec une couronne cylindrique sur la face du couvercle afin de former un siphon.
D'autres particularités pourront apparaître dans la description suivante des dessins annexés qui montrent, à titre exemplatif seulement, un mode d'exécution de l'invention.
La figure 1 est une vue schématique en coupe axiale, verticale, à travers un appareil suivant l'invention.
La figure 2 est une demi-vue en élévation, en plan, et une demivue en coupe suivant II-II de la figure 1.
Sur les figures, on voit que l'appareil comporte un corps 2 muni de deux raccords latéraux 2a et 2b permettant le branchement sur la conduite..
Suivant une caractéristique, le corps comprend un renflement 3 formant siphon avec l'aile 3a; ceci a pour but d'empêcher les odeurs de se propager dans le corps.
Dans ce dernier corps 2 est logé un flotteur 4 monté sur la tige 4a s'étendant de part et d'autre du dit flotteur et pourvue à sa partie inférieure de la butée 4b venant reposer sur l'entretoise transversale 5 percée du trou 5a pour la dite tige 4a. A sa partie supérieure la tige 4a traverse l'entretoise 7b prévue dans l'orifice de passage 7.
Le flotteur 4 ferme l'orifice 7 ménagé au centre du fond de la tête amovible 8 ayant la forme d'une cuvette et vient s'appuyer contre un siège 6 en caoutchouc garnissant la périphérie du dit orifice. Dans les figures, le flotteur est montré dans la position de fermeture de l'orifice 7 c' est-à-dire quand il est soumis à la pression des eaux. Cet orifice 7 est en- touré d'un rebord 7a, La tête ou cuvette amovible 8 est fermée par le couver-. cle 9 percé par toute une série de trous 9a. sur sa face inférieure le couvercle est garni d'une couronne 9b plongeant dans la cuvette jusqu' à un niveau inférieur à celui d'affleurement du rebord 7a; ceci a pour effet de former un siphon coupe-odeurs dans la tête amovible.
L'appareil étant branché sur la conduite, quand les eaux des égouts refluent lors des inondations, on constate que la pression de ces eaux pousse le flotteur vers le haut sur le joint 6 et ferme l'orifice 7; les eaux ne peuvent gagner l'extérieur du corps. Quand les eaux se retirent le flotteur retcmbe jusqu'à ce que la butée 4b vienne reposer 'sur l'entretoise 5; l'orifice 7 s'ouvre et les eaux d'infiltration peuvent s'écouler à travers les trous- 9a, passer dans la cuvette 8 et de là gagner l'orifice 7, le corps de l'appareil et le conduit d'évacuation.
Enfin le corps 2 est percé d'un trou 2c formant trou de visite et fermé par un bouchon.
REVENDICATIONS.
1. Appareil obturateur à siphon pour égouts, c a r a c t é r i --. s é en ce qu'il est constitué par un corps dans lequel est logé un moyen de fermeture de l'orifice de passage entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du -corps fonctionnant sous la pression du liquide dans la conduite et un moyen d'ame- née du liquide de l'extérieur vers l'intérieur du corps.

The present invention relates to a plugging device with a siphon which is connected to a pipe for the transport of liquid and especially to a sewer pipe.
In dwellings, provision is made to place disconnector siphons or similar devices on the sewer pipes; these devices are designed to allow seepage water from the cellars to be drained into the sewer. However, current devices have a serious drawback which consists in that, during flooding, the water from the sewers flows back into the cellars while passing through them.
These waters are not only unpleasant by the odors and deposits they cause, but also dangerous, given the germs of diseases they contain.
The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback consists of an apparatus consisting of a body comprising a means for closing the passage opening between the interior and the exterior of the body and operating under the effect of pressure of the liquid in the pipe and a means for supplying liquid from the outside to the inside of the body.
According to a particular feature, the means for closing the passage orifice is a float on either side of which extends a guide rod which passes through a spacer integral with the body and a spacer integral with the orifice, it is also provided with a stopper on its lower part.
