La présente invention a pour objet une guêtre en matière plasti- que transparente et imperméable, dont la principale caractéristique réside dans le fait.qu'il n'y a pas de couture arrière mais bien une couture latérale munie d'une fermeture éclair à tirette de type entièrement nouveau dentales particularités seront décrites ci=dessous, avec référence aux dessins anne- xés. Il est évidentque, selon l'invention, ce nouveau système de fermeture éclair avec tirette ou curseur, pourrait trouver son application non seule- ment à la fermeture de coutures de guêtres mais également pour celles de tous autres objets en tissu ou en matière flexible.
La matière utilisée pour la guêtre '.:peut être aussi de n'importe quelle nature mais elle sera de-préfé- rence transparente et, vu sa destination, imperméable.
Suivant l'inventions, la couture latérale de la guêtre, s'ouvrant ou se fermant avec le système de tirette nouveau, se compose de l'assemblage bout à bout des deux bords longitudinaux de la feuille de matière, les deux bords en question ayant été au préalable baleinés rigidement;sur toute leur longueur.
Sur chaque bord ainsi baleiné et rendu rigide des petites dents de forme généralement rectangulaire sont découpées:, les parties saillantes des dents d'un bord correspondant aux parties rentrantes des dents de Vautre bord.
Les dents d'un des bords sont pourvues à leur partie supérieure d'une petite pointe verticale destinée à s'emboîter dans une petite ouvertu- re ou encoche creusée dans chacune des dents correspondantes de l'autre bord.
Pour assurer la fermeture de la couture, on dispose les deux bords bout à bout de manière que les saillies des dents d'un bord se trou- vent vis-à-vis des creux des dents de l'autre bord.
La tirette ou curseur de forme spéciale décrite plus loin se monte alors sur les bords en contact par en dessous,, de façon qu'en la ti-

rant vers le haut le profil interne de celle-ci que doivent suivre les bords baleinés, assure l'enfilage des pointes des dents d'un des bords dans les encoches des dents de l'autre bord, les rendant ainsi parfaitement solidati- rés
Parvenue au haut de sa course, on aura réalisé ainsi la fermeture parfaite de la guêtre; pour ouvrir celle-ci il suffira dé faire redescendre la tirette- ou curseur le long de la couture de profil de ladite tirette as- surant alors le déboîtement des pointes des dents d'un bord hors des enco- ches de l'autre bord.
Les figures du dessin annexé à titre d'exemple, représentent les bords de la couture latérale d'une guêtre selon l'invention ainsi que la ti- rette ou curseur.
En Fig. 1 on a représenté les deux bords baleinés 13 et 14 de la couture latérale de la guêtre; le bord 13 étant muni de dents 15 dont la par- tie supérieure est pourvue d'une pointe verticale 16 ; le bord 14 est égale- ment muni. de dents 17 dont les creux font face aux saillies correspondantes des dents 15 du bord 13 ; lesdents 17 sont percées d'une ouverture en forme d'encoche 18 destinée à recevoir les pointes 16 au moment de la fermeture de la couture.
La tirette ou curseur 20 est représentée aux Fig. 2 à 7.
Les Fig. 2 et 3 représentent les deux parties constitutives 21 et 22 de la tirette ou curseur 20 découpée selon un plan médian ; la partie 21 est creusée, vue intérieurement selon un profil évidé 25 ; la partie 22, vue extérieurement se compose d'un plan incliné 27, d'un évidement interne 28 (en pointillé), d'une partie rentrante 26 et d'un support 29 pour le cordon- net 19.Les deux parties sont montées l'une sur l'autre (Fig. 4) de manière que les deux zones marquées 23 soient l'une au dessus de l'autre. De cette manière, la tirette ou curseur 20 assemblée présentera une ouverture d'en- trée et une ouverture de sortie (Fig. 5, 6 et 7) et un profil intérieur évidé dont la disposition assurera lors du mouvement de la tirette, l'enfilage ou le déboftement des dents des deux bords de la couture.
Enfin, la Fig. 8 représente- une- vue d'ensemble de la guêtre avec sa couture latérale pourvue de ses deux bords baleinés avec la tirette mon- tée sur ceux-ci.
Il est évident que le système de fermeture de la couture latérale ainsi décrit et représenté pourrait également trouver son application pour l'assemblage des bords d'une couture en toute matière appropriée de n'importe quel autre objet.

1. Guêtre transparente et imperméable, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle possède une couture latérale à fermeture éclair avec tirette ou cur- seur de type nouveau.

The present invention relates to a gaiter made of transparent and impermeable plastic material, the main characteristic of which resides in the fact that there is no rear seam but indeed a side seam provided with a zipper with pull tab. entirely new type dental features will be described below, with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is obvious, according to the invention, this new zipper system with a puller or slider, could find its application not only to the closing of gaiter seams but also for those of all other objects in fabric or flexible material.
The material used for the gaiter can also be of any kind, but it will preferably be transparent and, given its purpose, impermeable.
According to the invention, the side seam of the gaiter, opening or closing with the new zipper system, consists of the end-to-end assembly of the two longitudinal edges of the sheet of material, the two edges in question having been rigidly boned beforehand; over their entire length.
On each edge thus boned and made rigid, small teeth of generally rectangular shape are cut: the protruding parts of the teeth of one edge corresponding to the re-entrant parts of the teeth of the other edge.
The teeth of one of the edges are provided at their upper part with a small vertical point intended to fit into a small opening or notch hollowed out in each of the corresponding teeth of the other edge.
To ensure closure of the seam, the two edges are arranged end to end so that the protrusions of the teeth on one edge are opposite the hollows of the teeth on the other edge.
The specially shaped zipper or slider described later is then fitted to the contacting edges from below, so that when

rowing upwards the internal profile of the latter, which the boned edges must follow, ensures the threading of the tips of the teeth of one of the edges in the notches of the teeth of the other edge, thus making them perfectly solid.
Having reached the top of its course, we will thus have achieved the perfect closing of the gaiter; to open the latter, it will suffice to bring the zipper or slider down along the profile seam of said zipper, then ensuring the dislocation of the tips of the teeth on one edge out of the notches on the other edge.
The figures of the accompanying drawing by way of example represent the edges of the side seam of a gaiter according to the invention as well as the pull tab or slider.
In Fig. 1 shows the two boned edges 13 and 14 of the side seam of the gaiter; the edge 13 being provided with teeth 15, the upper part of which is provided with a vertical point 16; edge 14 is also provided. teeth 17 whose hollows face the corresponding projections of the teeth 15 of the edge 13; the teeth 17 are pierced with a notch-shaped opening 18 intended to receive the tips 16 when the seam is closed.
The pull tab or slider 20 is shown in Figs. 2 to 7.
Figs. 2 and 3 represent the two constituent parts 21 and 22 of the zipper or slider 20 cut along a median plane; part 21 is hollowed out, seen internally along a hollowed out profile 25; part 22, seen from the outside, consists of an inclined plane 27, an internal recess 28 (in dotted lines), a re-entrant part 26 and a support 29 for the cord 19. The two parts are mounted one on top of the other (Fig. 4) so that the two marked areas 23 are one above the other. In this way, the assembled zipper or slider 20 will have an inlet opening and an outlet opening (Figs. 5, 6 and 7) and a recessed interior profile, the arrangement of which will ensure during the movement of the zipper. threading or disengaging the teeth from both edges of the seam.
Finally, FIG. 8 represents an overall view of the gaiter with its side seam provided with its two boned edges with the zipper mounted on them.
It is obvious that the system for closing the side seam thus described and represented could also find its application for the assembly of the edges of a seam in any suitable material of any other object.
CLAIMS.
1. Transparent and waterproof gaiter, characterized by the fact that it has a zippered side seam with a new type of zipper or slider.
