PLANTES.
La présente invention a pour but de procurer.un appareil de con- ception simple, de grand rendement et de conduite aisée en vue d'égaliser les pieds des tiges de lin ou d'autres tiges.
Cet appareil est caractérisé en ordre principal en ce qu'il possè- de un caisson comprenant un ou plusieurs compartiments dont le fond, de préfé- rence incliné, est mobile et reçoit un mouvement alternatif de monte et bais- se de manière à agir sur les extrémités des tiges reposant en position verti- cale ou sensiblement verticale sur ce ou ces fonds.
Dans la réalisation pratique de l'invention, le ou les fonds sont fixés à une ou à des barres recevant un mouvement d'oscillation autour d'un arbre horizontal.
Les compartiments lorsqu'il y en a plusieurs sont séparés par des cloisons verticales fixes.
Les dessins ci-joints sont destinés à illustrer un exemple de réalisation non limitatif d'un appareil conçu d'après les données de l'inven- tion.
La figure 1 est une roue en élévation et la figure 2 une vue en plan.
Ainsi que cela ressort des dessins ci-joints, l'appareil objet de l'invention comprend un châssis fixe formé à chacune de ses extrémités de deux montants 1-et2 disposés suivants des directions convergentes vers le haut et reliés à leurs extrémités supérieures par une partie 3 légèrement inclinée.
Entre les montants 1 s'étend vers le bas un arbre 4 sur lequel sont fixées des barres 5 portant une plaque 6 à leur extrémité opposée à celle par laquelle .allés s'attachent à l'arbre 4. Ces plaques 6 constituent le fond mobile de compartiments juxtaposés délimités par des cloisons ver- ticales 7 -solidaires d'une plaque 8 légèrement inclinée de haut en bas et

fixée aux montants 2.
Le châssis fixe-porte vers le haut un arbre 9 sur lequel sont fixées à chacune de ses 'extrémités,, des poulies 10 dont' l'une est commandée; chaque poulie 10 entraîne par une bielle 11 un arbre 12 dont sont solidai- res les barres 5 et déterminant le pivotement de ces dernières autour de l'arbre 4.
Les barres 5 occupent donc alternativement les positions représen- tées en 5 et 51 à la figure 1 et de ce fait les plaques de fond des comparti- ments se trouvent alternativement en 6 et 61 en exerçant ainsi une action d'é- galisation sur les pieds des tiges de lin soutenues par les fonds 6 et repo- sant contre la plaque 8 comme montré par la figure 1.
Afin de retenir les tiges dans les compartiments et les empêcher de tomber vers l'extérieur,on peut prévoir une tôle ou une planche 13 qui relie vers le bas les cloisons 7 du côté opposé à la plaque 8.
L'appareil peut comprendre seulement un seul compartiment mais de préférence il en possèdera plusieurs de telle sorte qu'un même préposé à la conduite de la machine pourra successivementintroduire les tiges dans un compartiment et retirer d'un autre celles ayant été égalisées.
REVENDICATIONS.
1/ Appareil pour égaliser les pieds des tiges de lin caractérisé en ce qu'il possède un caisson comprenant un ou plusieurs compartiments dont le fond, de préférence incliné, est mobile et reçoit un mouvement alternatif de monte et baisse de manière à agir sur les extrémités des tiges reposant en position verticale ou sensiblement verticale sur ce ou ces fonds.

The object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus of simple design, of great efficiency and of easy operation with a view to leveling the stems of flax stems or other stems.
This apparatus is characterized in the main order in that it has a box comprising one or more compartments, the bottom of which, preferably inclined, is movable and receives a reciprocating up and down movement so as to act on the ends of the rods resting in a vertical or substantially vertical position on this or these funds.
In the practical embodiment of the invention, the bottom (s) are fixed to one or more bars receiving an oscillating movement around a horizontal shaft.
The compartments when there are several are separated by fixed vertical partitions.
The accompanying drawings are intended to illustrate a non-limiting exemplary embodiment of an apparatus designed from the data of the invention.
Figure 1 is a wheel in elevation and Figure 2 a plan view.
As emerges from the accompanying drawings, the apparatus object of the invention comprises a fixed frame formed at each of its ends of two uprights 1-and 2 arranged in directions converging upwards and connected at their upper ends by a part 3 slightly inclined.
Between the uprights 1 extends downwards a shaft 4 on which are fixed bars 5 carrying a plate 6 at their end opposite to that by which .allés are attached to the shaft 4. These plates 6 constitute the movable bottom. juxtaposed compartments delimited by vertical partitions 7 - integral with a plate 8 slightly inclined from top to bottom and

fixed to the uprights 2.
The fixed-frame carries upwards a shaft 9 on which are fixed at each of its' ends, pulleys 10, one of which is controlled; each pulley 10 drives by a connecting rod 11 a shaft 12 of which the bars 5 are integral and determining the pivoting of the latter around the shaft 4.
The bars 5 therefore occupy alternately the positions shown at 5 and 51 in FIG. 1 and therefore the bottom plates of the compartments are located alternately at 6 and 61, thus exerting an equalizing action on the feet of the flax stems supported by the bottoms 6 and resting against the plate 8 as shown in figure 1.
In order to retain the rods in the compartments and prevent them from falling outwards, a sheet or a board 13 can be provided which connects the partitions 7 downwards on the side opposite to the plate 8.
The device may include only a single compartment but preferably it will have several so that the same operator of the machine can successively introduce the rods into one compartment and remove from another those having been equalized.
CLAIMS.
1 / Apparatus for leveling the feet of the flax stems characterized in that it has a box comprising one or more compartments whose bottom, preferably inclined, is mobile and receives an alternating movement of up and down so as to act on the ends of the rods resting in a vertical or substantially vertical position on this or these funds.
