La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif d'allumage pour étui et boite à allumettes permettant d'enflammer les allumettes très rapide- ment et automatiquement en les extrayant. 



   Jusqu'à présent, lors de l'allumage, les allumettes devaient être extraites complètement de la boite ou détachées de l'étui qui les maintenait, puis frottées,   tétes   chargées, sur une surface de frottement apte à les enflam- mer et subissaient lors de l'allumage (lors de   l'allumage)   une poussée laté- rale exigeant de l'allumette un corps assez rigide. 



   La présente invention prévoit un allumage par traction de l'allu- mette dans le sens longitudinal et glissement, frottement contre une ou entre deux surfaces de frottement placées à l'intérieur de   l'étui   ou de la boite à allumettes de façon que la tête chargée de matières inflammables s'enflamme au-   tomatiquement..   



   Le dispositif constitué par une ou deux surfaces intérieures de frottement, peut s'adapter dans un étui extrêmement plat étant donné que les allumettes peuvent être extrêmement plates et fines, ou, dans une boite plate à tiroir, ainsi que dans la boite usuelle, à tiroir, à allumettes., laissée à sa longueur ou allongée un peu, ou, dans tout autre étui analogue. 



   L'étui extra plat, peut être constitué à une rangée d'allumettes il teindra alors un minimum de place ; il peut être constitué à deux ou plu- sieurs rangées, bouts à prendre disposés d'un même côté ou bouts contrariés. 



   Selon l'invention, les dispositifs surfaces de frottement inté- rieures, adaptées à un étui, permettent un étui extra plato Cet étui est cons- titué par une rangée d'allumettes, pincées dans une feuille suffisamment rigi- de, pliée en forme de U à branches longues et bords latéraux fermés, munie in- térieurement d'au moins une bande de frottement disposée près du bord de l' ouverture de l'étui. Les bords d'ouverture de l'étui, seront légèrement recour- bés et dentellés pour mieux maintenir les allumettes. Cet étui simple laisse dépasser les bouts à prendre et peut être muni   d'une   patte rabattante pour ca- cher les bouts. 



   Conformément à l'invention,   l'étui   peut être constitué à plusieurs

 rangées d'allumettes, avec ou sans pattes rabattantes de protection. 



   Selon l'invention, le dispositif surfaces intérieures de frotte- ment, peut être adapté dans une boite extra plate à tiroir, dont un bout du tiroir sera réservé pour recevoir une bande de frottement, l'autre bande de frottement étant placée dans l'enveloppe en face de la première, du côté ou- vrant de la boite, Pour la facilité de l'usager, le côté ouvrant, porte un signe distinctif. 



   Conformément à l'invention, l'allumette ne subissant, au moment 'de l'allumage, aucune poussée latérale, est plus mince ou de section plus petite, et peut être constituée en d'autres matériaux que ceux employés habituellement à sa fabrication. 



   Conformément à l'invention, le dispositif constitué par les sur- faces intérieures de frottement, est également placé sur la boite à tiroir usuel- le à allumettes, de fagon à ce que l'allumette, étant extraite en partie de la boîte, puis celle-ci refermée, il suffit de tirer sur le bout pour allumer au- tomatiquement la tête chargée de l'allumette. La boite portera un signe distinc- tif du côté ouvrant. 



   Conformément à l'invention, le tiroir dans lequel se trouvent les allumettes, a une partie fermée à un bout : partie qui porte une surface de frottement. Une autre surface de frottement peut être prévue à l'intérieur de   l'enveloppe   dans laquelle s'engage le tiroir. Ces deux surfaces de frottement sont disposées de telle façon, qu'elles sont en face l'une de l'autre et suf- fisamment rapprochées pour pincer, serrer légèrement une allumette quand le tiroir est repoussé à fond. 



   Il est entendu que tout en ayant des surfaces de frottement inté- rieures, il peut y avoir une ou des surfaces de frottement extérieures, pour allumage automatique ou non automatique au gré de l'usager. 



   Les dessins annexés à ce mémoire montrent à titre d'exemples non limitatifs, trois formes d'exécution de l'invention. Dans ces dessins, les fi- gures 1 et 2, montrent une forme d'exécution, les figures 3 et 4 montrent une autre forme d'exécution et les figures 5, 6 et 7 montrent une troisième forme d'exécution. 



   FIG. 1 est une vue en perspective d'un étui à simple rangée avec une patte rabattante 2, les bouts 3 à tirer pour l'allumage. On voit un des deux côtés latéraux 4 de l'étui 1, qui sont fermés pour empêcher la chute des allumettes. 



     FIG.2.   est une coupe transversale à une échelle agrandie de 1' étui de la Fig. 1. L'étui 1 est en forme de U à branches longues, contenant une rangée d'allumettes, ayant à l'intérieur deux surfaces de frottement 5. 



  On voit une allumette 3 avec bout 6 chargé de matières inflammables, qui s'en- flamme lors de l'extraction en passant entre les surfaces 5 de frottement. 



  La patte 2 est ouverte et peut se rabattre sur l'étui 1. Les bords 7 de l'étui 1 sont légèrement rabattus pour maintenir en place les allumettes.,   FIG.3   est une vue en perspective d'un étui : boite à tiroir à dou- ble rangées d'allumettes. L'étui 1 est une boîte avec tiroir 8 que l'on ouvre en tirant la tirette 2   dépassante.   L'étui 1 ouvert en partie laisse voir les bouts 3 d'une rangée d'allumettes et un bout d'allumette 7 de la rangée in- férieure. On voit une surface de frottement 5 sur son support 4 fixé au bout du tiroir. En refermant le tiroir, les allumettes 3 sont repoussées dans la boite 1 par les bords du support 4. 



   FIG.4 est une coupe transversale de l'étui boite à tiroir de la figure 3. L'étui 1 est avec fond fermé. Le tiroir 8 ne fait qu'un avec le sup- port 4 des surfaces 5 de frottement et la tirette 2. A l'intérieur de l'étui ou boite 1 sont appliquées deux surfaces de frottement 9. On voit une allumet- te 3 dont le bout chargé 6 s'allume lors de 19extraction par la fait des frot- tements contre et entre les deux bandes de frottement 5 et 9. Une allumette 7 est dans le tiroir 8.

     FIG.5   est une vue en perspective d9une boite 1 d'allumettes con- tenant en son tiroir 2 des allumettes 4. En bout du tiroir 2 est visible une surface de frottement 3. 



   FIG. 6 est une vue en plan du tiroir 2 de la boite de la Figure 1. Le tiroir 2 renferme des allumettes ayant la tête chargée 5 du côté op- posé au bout fermé du tiroir 2 sur lequel on voit la surface de frottement 3. 



     FIG.7   est une coupe transversale de la boite figure 5 à une échel- le agrandie. La boite 1 est fermée et une allumette 8 est prêté à l'allumage. 



  On voit le tiroir 2 avec plusieurs allumettes 4, le bout fermé du tiroir 2 avec sa surface 3 de frottement. A l'intérieur de l'enveloppe 1 on voit une autre surface de frottement 6. Une allumette 8 est prête à être extraite et allumée, la tête 5 chargée de matières inflammables étant prête à s'engager entre les deux surfaces 3 et 6 de frottement. 



   Il est entendu que pour obtenir les résultats désirés, les moyens utilisés et décrits ci-dessus peuvent être remplacés par des moyens équiva- lents.
