Elle a pour objet un support qui présente un évidemment dans le- quel un manche d'instrument étant introduit, ce dernier demeure automatique- ment appendu quand on quitte prise.
A cette fin,-le support suivant l'invention comprend une languet- te attachée à une plaque de fixation par une articulation autour de laquel- le cette languette est susceptible de se rabattre librement sous l'effet de la gravité jusqu'à une position déterminée par le heurtement contre la plaque de fixation précitée d'au moins une butée que porte ladite languette dont la partie antérieure présente un évidement pour permettre le passage du man- che d'un des instruments susnommés suivant la normale à la languette consi- dérée, et évidemment étant limité à sa partie postérieure par une saillie arrondie pour retenir le manche en cause lorsque ce dernier se met ensuite obliquement par rapport à la languette susmentionnée,'par la sollicitation de la pesanteur par exemple.
Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse de l'objet de l'inven- tion, la languette précitée porte au-moins une butée qui, par son heurtement contre la plaque de fixation susdite, détermine la position relevée de ladi- te languette.
D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention ressqrtiront de la description d'un support pour instruments à manches, donnée ci-après à titre d'exemple non limitatif,et avec références aux dessins ci-annexés.

Dans.les différentes figures, les mêmes notations de réfé- rence désignent des éléments identiques ou remplissant des fonctions identi- ques.
Le support comprend une languette 1 attachée à une plaque de fi- xation 2 par une articulation 3. La plaque de fixation 2 est percée d'un trou ou oeilleton 14 pour l'assujettir à un mur, par exemple. La languette 1 est susceptible de se rabattre librement sous l'effet de la gravité, autour de l'articulation 3, jusqu'à une position définie.
Cette position est déterminée par le heurtement d'au moins une butée 4 que porte la languette 1, contre la plaque de fixation 2. La partie antérieure de-la languette l'présente un évidement 5 qui permet le passage du manche 6' d'un instrumenta suivant la normale à cette languette. L'évide- ment 5 considéré est limité à sa partie postérieure par une saillie arron- die 7 qui coince et retient le manche 6 quand on quitte prise après l'a- voir passé dans ledit évidement; ce manche se mettant alors, par la sollici- tation de la pesanteur, en oblique par rapport à la languette 1, qui vient sous le plan perpendiculaire à la plaque de fixation 2 et passant par l'ar- ticulation 3, c'est-à-dire, généralement le plan horizontal.
Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse de l'objet de l'in- vention, la languette 1 porte au moins une butée 8 qui en détermine la posi- tion relevée par heurtement contre la plaque de fixation 2. Si le support est assujetti suivant la pratique courante, cette position relevée est sen- siblement l'horizontale.
Dans la forme de réalisation représentée aux figures 1 et 4, la languette 1 et la plaque de fixation 2 sont des pièces venues de moulage.
Elles sont, par exemple, en laiton. L'articulation 3 est une charnière. La languette 1 est pourvue d'au moins un talon 9 monté sur l'axe de la charniè- re 3 et agencé pour constituer une double butée qui détermine les positions relevée et rabattue de ladite languette. Avantageusement, cette dernière est pourvue de deux talons 9 qui encadrent un palier 10 formant corps avec la plaque de fixation 2 et supportant l'axe de la charnière 3.
Dans la forme de réalisation représentée aux figures 2 et 3, le support suivant l'invention est fait d'une matière en feuille,.par exemple, 'de tôle. L'articulation 3 peut être alors constituée par dés tenons 11 qui sont ménagés à l'extrémité postérieure de la languette 1 et qui sont entrés dans des mortaises 12 correspondantes, pratiquées dans la plaque de fixation 2, les tenons 11 étant ensuite repliés derrière celle-ci. Les mortaises 12 sont ménagées à la crête d'une aminence transversale '13 formée dans la pla- que 2 et les bouts des tenons 11 constituent les butées 4 et 8 qui détermi- nent les positions rabattue et relevée de la languette 1. De préférence, les tenons 11 sont au nombre de trois : un tenon médian et'deux tenons extrê- mes.
Lé tenon médian est plié pour former une butée déterminant la position rabattue de la languette 1 tandis que les deux tenons extrêmes sont pliés' pour former des. butées déterminant sa position relevée. Avantageusement, la partie antérieure de la languette 1, qui, avec la saillie 7, entoure l'évi- dement 5, est rendue connexe et présente la forme d'un ,boudin. La languet- te.l revêt ainsi l'aspect général d'une boucle.
Tour' .appendre un instrument au support, on en introduit le man- che 6 dans l'évidement 5, par dessous la languette 1. Au contact du manche 6, la languette 1 se relève autant qu'il est nécessaire pour en permettre le passage qui s'effectue le plus aisément lorsque la languette est normale au manche. Cette,position-de la languette 1 correspond, du reste, sensiblement à celle déterminée par les butées 8 qui facilitent ainsi l'opération. Quand on quitte prise, l'instrument et.la languette 1 sont sollicitées par la pe- santeur; la languette se rabat alors et retient le manche 6 qui, coincé en- tre la saillie 7 et le bout antérieur de la languette) demeure automatique- ment appendu.

Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'est nullement limitée - aux réalisations décrites ci-avant et clue bien des modifications peuvent y être apportées sans sortir du'cadre'de la présente demande de brevet.
On pourrait, notamment,' agencer à l'extrémité postérieure de la languette, 'un seul talon formant une double butée qui détermine les positions relevée et rabattue de cette languette.
On pourrait, aussi, accroître le nombre de butées.
On'pourrait, encore, modifier les positions relatives de ces dernières.

The support comprises a tab 1 attached to a fixing plate 2 by a hinge 3. The fixing plate 2 is pierced with a hole or eyelet 14 to secure it to a wall, for example. The tongue 1 is capable of folding freely under the effect of gravity, around the articulation 3, to a defined position.
This position is determined by the collision of at least one stop 4 which the tongue 1 carries, against the fixing plate 2. The front part of the tongue l has a recess 5 which allows the passage of the handle 6 'of an instrumenta following the normal to this tab. The recess 5 in question is limited at its posterior part by a rounded projection 7 which wedges and retains the handle 6 when it is released after having passed it through said recess; this handle is then placed, by the solicitation of gravity, obliquely with respect to the tongue 1, which comes under the plane perpendicular to the fixing plate 2 and passing through the articulation 3, that is, that is, generally the horizontal plane.

The mortises 12 are formed at the crest of a transverse extension 13 formed in the plate 2 and the ends of the tenons 11 constitute the stops 4 and 8 which determine the folded and raised positions of the tongue 1.
