REVENDICATIONS.
1. - Procédé de fabrication de porte-diamant industriel, pour rec tifier les meules, qui consiste à prendre une douille métallique creuse à fond circulaire perforé axialement selon un orifice de forme adaptée à la pointe du diamant à utiliser, à placer le diamant intérieurement à cette douil- le de façon que ladite pointe traverse ledit orifice et fasse saillie exté- rieurement;

TOOL TO GRIND WHEELS AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS.
The grinding wheels are grinded using a tool bearing an industrial diamond and the latter is set in a cell cut in a metal block using an agent-based weld. An essential condition is that the diamond is well centered in the block, which is cy- shaped. cylindrical and which must be supported in an operating handle.
According to the present invention, the diamond will be housed internally in a hollow socket with a perforated bottom in the center so that a point of said diamond projects outwardly at the bottom and the diamond well centered beforehand will be fixed in place by a particular method which will be described. below.
The invention will be explained in detail with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawing.
Figure 1 is an axial shot of the diamond holder as it is currently known.
Figures 2 to 7 are similar sections and a projection showing the different phases of the current manufacture of the new diamond holder.
Figure 8 shows the diamond holder housed in its support arm
Referring to Figure 1, the diamond holder was formed by a cylindrical metal block 1, in which a cell 2 was axially drilled; the diamond was placed in this housing with tweezers so as to center it as exactly as possible and so that the working point protrudes from the bottom; the diamond was set at 1. using silver-based solder. However, it was very difficult to fix the diamond precisely and the work was always very delicate.
According to the present invention, a hollow sleeve 4 is taken, the circular bottom of which is perforated in the center according to a passage adapted to the tip of the diamond 2 and the latter is introduced internally into the sleeve so that the tip passes through said orifice 5 and projects outwardly. ; the diamond is therefore introduced into the diamond holder on the side opposite to that where it was done

previously. Figure 2 shows this position.
The protruding point of the diamond is then lined, after precise centering, with a paste 6, FIG. 3, which provides sufficient consistency and tackiness to fix the diamond momentarily in this position.
The sleeve is then filled with a cold compressible mass using a mandrel; this mass 7, figure 4, consists of metallic and organic parts and after compression it takes a reduced volume 7 ', as shown in figure 5.
In this position it is still possible to verify the centered position of the diamond and if a deviation is observed, it would be advisable to start the operations again.
If the diamond is correctly placed, the sleeve is heated so that the mass 7 'melts and welds the diamond in place in the mass 7 ", figure 6. The mass can optionally be compressed. 7 'during the fusion.
The paste 6 which covers the outer tip of the diamond is then removed and the diamond holder is ready to be fixed in the support arm or handle 8, figure 8.
This manufacturing method provides perfect precision in the location of the industrial diamond and the tool obtained is much more resistant to fatigue than the previously used diamond holder.
CLAIMS.
1. - Process for manufacturing an industrial diamond holder, for rec tifying the grinding wheels, which consists in taking a hollow metal sleeve with a circular base perforated axially in an orifice of a shape adapted to the point of the diamond to be used, in placing the diamond inside to this socket so that said point passes through said orifice and projects outwardly;
to center the point of the diamond with precision, to fix the diamond provisionally using a pasty adhesive mass applied externally on the sleeve and the point of the diamond, to fill the sleeve internally with a composite welding mass, compressible to cold, to compress this mass using a mandrel, to control the centered position of the diamond and of the working tip ,, to heat the sleeve so as to melt the welding mass, possibly to compress the molten mass., to remove the aforementioned adhesive paste and place the sleeve in the support handle for the diamond holder.
