Description

  SEMELLE ORTHOPEDIQUE,

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  ORTHOPAEDIC INSOLES,
The present invention relates to an orthopedic sole.

   The object of the invention is to provide an orthopedic sole of a weight substantially less than that of known orthopedic insoles, a sole in which no metal arch support or other metal reinforcing plate intervenes.

   To this end, the orthopedic sole according to the invention comprises a first sole preferably of fibrous material assembled in a manner known per se to a leather sole or the like, a lateral arch support plate projecting from said soles being provided between these last
According to an advantageous embodiment, the aforementioned lateral camber support plate is stapled to the aforementioned leather sole.
Other features and embodiments will emerge from the description of an orthopedic insole according to the invention; this description is given only by way of example in no way limiting and refers to the accompanying figures.

   Figure 1 is a view of the orthopedic sole according to the invention in which the various elements are shown separately.
Figure 2 shows the same sole assembled.

   In these figures, \) the same reference notations designate identical elements.

   The orthopedic sole according to the invention essentially comprises a first sole 1, preferably of fibrous agglomerate; on this

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 first is applied a leather sole 2 made of a similar material. This leather sole carries, on the face adjacent to the first sole of fibrous material, a support plate 3 which is raised from the side to form arch support. This support plate 3, itself made of leather, can be covered on its upper face with a piece of smooth skin.

   The fixing of the support plate 3 to the leather sole 2 is carried out by means of eyes 4 with flat edges which can be embedded in the thickness of the leather of the semelleo.
The shoe., Once fitted, a holed skin 5 is applied to the free face of the leather sole.

   This way of proceeding therefore makes it possible to produce an extremely light orthopedic sole in which, with the exception of the staples, no metal part is involved.

   It is understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described above and that many modifications can be made to it, in particular as regards the shape, the arrangements, the number and the constitution of the intervening elements. in its realization and without going beyond the scope of the present patent application
CLAIMS. lo Orthopedic sole., characterized in that it comprises a first sole, preferably of fibrous material assembled in a manner known per se to a leather sole or the like, a lateral arch support plate protruding from said soles being provided between them.
