Suivant l'invention, le procédé de fabrication est caractérisé par les diverses phases suivantes : découpage d'un ensemble-tige avec contrefort arrière sur gabarit adéquat, la base de l'ensemble étant augmentée, sur son pourtour, d'une bande destinée à être repliée vers l'extérieur; découpage d'une première, par exemple en peausserie, avec prévision, au long de son pourtour normal,d'une bande complémentaire de dimensions égales à celles de la bande prévue sur l'ensemble-tige; fixation, par exemple par piqûre, de la tige sur la première de manière à obtenir une superposition des deux bandes susdites, formant ainsi une première trépointe; humidification de l'ensemble susdit à la vapeur, mise en place sur une forme et séchage;

FOOTWEAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING.
The present invention relates to a shoe, more specifically of the so-called “light shoe” type and to the manufacturing process.
The main object of the invention is to provide a light shoe, of very resistant assembly while being very simple, the manufacturing process being able moreover to be applied perfectly to heavy shoes - and, moreover, also. well to shoes for men than for ladies or children.
The shoe according to the invention comprises an upper assembly with a rear buttress, the lower end of which is folded outwards on its periphery, and a first, the normal surface of which is increased, on its periphery, by a band equal to the folded part of the stem assembly with the aforementioned buttress.
Said shoe also comprises a hard toe, the base of which is folded towards the outside so as to be inserted between the parts folded towards the outside of the first and of the aforesaid upper assembly.
Finally, a welt is provided above the aforesaid outwardly folded parts, said welt preferably being flat, of the cord type.
The present invention also relates to the manufacturing process.
According to the invention, the manufacturing process is characterized by the following various phases: cutting of a rod assembly with rear buttress on a suitable template, the base of the assembly being increased, on its periphery, with a strip intended for be folded out; cutting of a first, for example in leather, with provision, along its normal perimeter, of a complementary strip of dimensions equal to those of the strip provided on the upper assembly; fixing, for example by stitching, of the upper on the first so as to obtain a superposition of the two aforesaid bands, thus forming a first welt; humidifying the aforementioned assembly with steam, placing on a form and drying;
separation of the strap and the insole at the front of the shoe - for the insertion of a hard end with a base folded outwards; sole display and solidarisa-

tion of the whole assembly, for example by sewing, with the addition of a second upper welt.
Other details and features will emerge from the description of a shoe according to the invention and of the manufacturing process, given below by way of non-limiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 shows the rod assembly., In perspective.
Figure 2 shows the first.
Figure 3 is a sectional view of the mounted shoe.
Figure 4 is a sectional view of the front of the mounted shoe.
In the various figures, the same reference notations represent similar or identical elements.
The cutting of the rod 1 is carried out on a precise template of the shape to be used; this rod has a buttress 2.
At the base of the aforementioned rod assembly, and around the entire periphery, there is provided an additional strip 3 folded outwards, the width of such a strip being, for example, one centimeter.
The first 4, for example in leather, is cut according to its exact plane according to the size, but leaving, again on the perimeter, an additional strip 5, of a width equal to that of the strip 3. At the Figure 2, line 6 in dashed lines indicates the exact and normal trace of the first.
The rod 1 is then stitched on the first, in the exact trace of this imaginary line 6 aforesaid, so that the two bands 3 and
5 are superimposed to form a kind of first welt.
This whole is then humidified with steam, put on form, then dried.
The stitching of the front end of the shoe is undone so as to be able to slide, under the upper, a hard end 7, the lower end 8 of which is bent outwards so as to be inserted between the strip 3 of the upper and strip 5 of the first (fig. 4).
The solvent, used for the hard end, will automatically recreate the connection between the strip 3 of the rod and the end 8 of the hard end 7, on the one hand, and between said end 8 and the strip 5 of the first, of somewhere else.
The sole 10 itself is then displayed and the whole is sewn with a welt 9 proper. This last work will be carried out, for example, using a "petit.point" machine distributing a "sandalette" welt.
Bottom-out, cool-wise, finishing, etc. are identical to those commonly provided for all shoes.
It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described above and that many modifications could be made to it without departing from the scope of the present patent application.
