"Moulin concasseur ".
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

"Mill crusher".
The present invention relates to a high-yield crusher mill more especially intended for agricultural operations.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The crusher mill according to the invention comprises a stationary grinding wheel and a rotating grinding wheel, for example emery flint grinding wheels. According to the invention, these grinding wheels comprise grooves extending from the center towards the periphery, branching out, which are intended to ensure greater efficiency for the crusher.
The grains to be crushed arrive between the grinding wheels through the edges of the central hole drilled in the stationary grinding wheel through which passes the shaft carrying the other grinding wheel; a spiral on this shaft advances the grains towards the center of the two millstones.
According to a particular feature of the invention, one or more magnets are arranged at the base of the hopper and retain the metallic foreign bodies which are hole. wind in the grains and could damage the mill.
The characteristics and advantages of the crusher according to the invention will emerge from the description given below with reference to the appended drawing in which:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the crusher.
FIG. 2 is a partial perspective view of the crusher from which the case and the grinding wheel clamping device have been removed and the two grinding wheels separated from one another.
FIG. 3 is a side view showing the feeder device regulating the arrival of grain between the grindstones.
Figure 4 is a sectional view along the line IVIV of Figure 3.
FIG. 5 is a detail view showing the shaft carrying the rotary grinding wheel.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
FIG. 6 is a detail view of the device for adjusting the grain flow rate.
The crusher comprises a cylindrical box 1, enclosing the grinders, closed by two reinforced flanges 2, by cross members 3. The box is also reinforced by metal tie rods 4 having their threaded ends to be fixed to the box at the same time. using bolts.
The lower part of the cylindrical box 1 has a rectangular opening to allow the grain to fall into the outlet gutter 5. This removable gutter is held in place by hooks and can be easily removed for cleaning the mill.
The body is mounted on a frame comprising feet 6, spacers 7 and tie rods 8. To the feet 6 are fixed brackets 9 having adjustment slots for fixing the feet to the ground.
Above the box 1 is the hopper 10.
A reinforcing iron 11 joins the hopper to the body.
The grain flows from the hopper through an opening which can be closed using the movable shutter 12 sliding under the guides 13. On the movable shutter 12 is fixed a rack 14 which meshes with a pinion 15 wedged on the shaft 16 of a handwheel 17. Shaft 16 is supported by brackets 18 fixed to the hopper. A spring '19 (Figure 6) pressing on the one hand on a bracket 18, on the other hand on a washer 20 integral with the axis 16 stabilizes the movable shutter at the height at which it has been adjusted.
At the base of the hopper are placed permanent magnets 50 which have the role of retaining the bodies

metallic foreigners that may be in the grain.
The grain is then driven by a rotary feeder 21 provided with teeth 52 and wedged on a shaft 22 supported by bearings 23. The shaft 22 is rotated from the master pulley 24, which is wedged on the. shaft 26 of the rotating grinding wheel, through the intermediate pulleys 27 and 28 and the belt 29.
The fertilizer 21 regularizes the arrival of the grain at the center of the stationary wheel 31. The grain is then conveyed to the other side of the stationary wheel through the central hole of this stationary wheel by a spiral 32, formed for example by a square iron spirally wound on the shaft 26 (Figure 5).
The rotary grinding wheel 33 is driven in rotation by the shaft 26 which is mounted on bearings 34. On one face of this grinding wheel is bolted a cast iron flange 35 which is blocked on the shaft 26 by means of a key which s 'engages in the hole 53 and the diametrically opposed hole, and which passes through the shaft 26. This means of locking the grinding wheel 33 on the shaft 26 has the advantage of allowing a slight pivoting of the grinding wheel, around the key and this oscillation of the grinding wheel relative to the shaft 26 ensures equal friction over the entire surface of the grinding wheels.
A pressure device comprising a yoke 37 and a screw 38 adapted to put pressure on the end of the shaft 26 makes it possible to adjust the spacing of the grinding wheels 30 and 33 to the desired value.
A sealing washer 34 prevents grain from entering between the shaft 26 and the central cavity of the grinding wheel

33.
The opposite faces of the grinding wheels have grooves, the main ones 40 of which start from the center, approximately tangentially to the central hole, towards the periphery. The grooves 40 are slightly more hollow towards the center than. outwards. A slightly shallower groove 41 starts from each groove 40 towards the periphery. The central part of the grinding wheel constitutes a breaking part and the periphery constitutes a rubbing part in which small notches about a millimeter in depth can be made. This special cutting of the grinding wheels has the advantage of increasing their output and ensuring fine crushing.
