PERFECTIONNEMENTS AUX FILTRES A CAFE.
Les présents perfectionnements sont relatifs aux filtres de cafetières automatiques décrits dans le brevet de perfec- tionnement au brevet principal n 399216,dans lesquels le re- froidissement de l'eau bouillante est provoqué systématique- ment, dans une mesure déterminée avant qu'elle atteigne le café.
Il a été constaté que ces filtres,même placés sur cafe- tières ordinaires en métal,terre,faïence ou autre matière,don- nent satisfaction aux ménagères,au double point de vue du fonctionnement et de la qualité de la boisson préparée.
Les perfectionnements ont pour objets des améliorations dans l'usage et l'entretien des filtres eux-mêmes,que seront décrites ci-après avec référence aux dessins annexés,montrant, à titre d'exemple,comment on peut les réaliser.
Dans ces dessins, la fig. I représente une première réalisation du filtre perfec- tionné, en coupe verticale, la fig. II est une vue analogue montrant une variante, la fig. III est une troisième réalisation.

Dans la figure I,le filtre représenté se compose d'un récipient principal I à fond perforé, d'un intérieur 2 muni de trous 3 destinés à laisser sortir l'air et la vapeur contenus dans la chambre d'infusion, et d'un couvercle 4 simplement posé sur l'intérieur 2 et destié à recevoir l'eau bouillante et à la distribuer sous forme de gouttes,sur le. café moulu,par les trous 5. L'intérieur 2 est engagé à frottement doux dans un léger élargissement,limité en hauteur, du récipient I,de fa- çon à ce que le léger serrage maintienne les 2 récipients assujettis l'un à l'autre pour la manoeuvre aisée du filtre. Lorsque la ménagère désire nettoyer soigneusement l'appareil,elle peut enlever le récipient 2 par simple traction.
Le mouvement de traction peut être combiné avec un mouvement de rotation limité si fa fixation est assurée par ergots da système connu ou par vis garnissant la surface de contact.
Dans la figure II,lTintérieur 2 descend jusqu'au fond du récipient principal I. Le contact est maintenu sur un espace de hauteur suffisante en A, de façon à maintenir l'intérieur 2 assujetti au récipient I,comme il est dit plus haut,mais le diamètre inférieur à cet espace A de l'intérieur 2 est quelque peu diminué pour la facilité du démontage et du remontage.Les fonds respectifs des deux récipients sont enlevés quasi-entièrement,en laissant toutefois subsister un léger rebord à chacun d'eux,de manière à ce qu'une grille rapportée 6 puisse être placée et maintenue entre les deux rebords respectifs. Il va de soi que la disposition adoptée permet ainsi le démontage COTI- plet et même le remplacement de la grille lorsque celle-ci est détériorée.
Dans la figure III,le filtre représenté ne se compose que d'un récipient extérieur I et d'un récipient intérieur 2, Ce dernier est simplement posé dans le récipient I sur lequel il s'appuie par quelques bossages 3 localisés sur la périphérie d'une saillie due aux deux diamètres différentsde la paroi.Une communication libre entre l'intérieur 7 et le dehors est ainsi ménagée pour l'échappement de l'air et de la vapeur,grâce à l'intervalle laissé entre les parois respectives des récipients

1 et 2. Le fond du récipient intérieur 2 est perforé d'une cer- taine quantité de trous 8,répartis sur la surface du fond, dans le but de freiner la descente de l'eau,dans la mesure dé- terminée par son refroidissement judicieux.
De préférence,ces trous sont assez petits pour éviter que le marc de café puisse remonter dans le récipient intérieur 2.
Bien entendu,d'autres formes et détails d'exécution des appareils décrits à titre d'exemple peuvent être adoptés sans porter préjudice à l'invention,comme,par exemple, le mode de fixation des intérieurs 2.
