Brosse à enduire.
Là présente invention a trait à une brosse destinée à enduire sur une surface un produit fluide quelconque, à prélever dans un récipient qui normalement est maintenu fermé. Un cas d'application est par exemple celui où il s'agit de prélever de la cire encaus- tique d'un récipient, et d'étendre cette cire sur une surface à polir.
Essentiellement, la brosse conforme à l'invention- se caractérise en ce que, sur son manche, peut 'coulisser un manchon qui, dans une position, laisse les soies de la brosse entièrement libres, tandis que dans son autre position limite, ce manchon recouvre à peu près tout le pinceau de soies.,cette disposition spécLa- le permet, d'une part, d'introduire la brosse dans un orifice de faibles dimensions, ce qui ne serait pas possible si les. soies étaient libres ; d'autre part, le manchon peut être glissé sur les soies trempées pour en faire sortir le trop-plein et éviter

ainsi les gouttes et taches produites souvent par une brosse trop imbibée.
L'invention, par extension, s'étend à un ensemble crosse et récipient, par exemple récipient à cire encaustique ou autre produit d'entretien à étendre, caractérisé en ce que le manche de la brosse se termine par un capuchon à visser, susdeptiols de .se visser sur le goulot du fond de ce récipient, ainsi qu'il ressortira de la description ci-dessous faite en se référant, au dessin annexé dans lequel : fig.l est une coupe axiale du récipient, mentrant le brosse enfoncée dans celui-ci, le récipient étant fermé, fig.2 est une vue identique, la brosse n'étant que partielle- ment enfoncée dans le récipient.
Le récipient 1 de forme quelconque est par exemple vendu tel quel, avec une charge de cire encaustique ou autre produit fluide à étendre. Le fond supérieur du récipient, dans l'exemple cylin- drique, porte en son centreun manchon 2 extérieurement fileté et surmonté d'une partie lisse 3 décolletée. 4 est le capuchon a visser sur le manchon 2 pour fermer le récipient. ce capuchon peut être libre, mais de préférence, comme le montre le dessin;

La position de sortie du manchon est limitée par tout moyen quelconque, par exemple une broche 8 portée par le manche 5 et logée dans une fenêtre longitudinale 9 du manchon.
Le manchon est terminé, du côté du capuchon 4, par une collerette 10 dont le rebord saillant 11 a un diamètre légèrement plus grand que celui de la partie 3 de la boite.

de liquide contenu dans le récipient 1, on amène le manchon 7 à recouvrir les soies 6, ce qui permet une introduction aisée de la brosse dans la partie 2, le rebord 11 du manchon venant buter contre la partie 3 (position de la fig.2). On appuie alors vers la bas sur le capuchon 4, et la brosse même s'enfonce, au travers du man- chon 7 retenu, le capuchon 4 venant s'arrêter contre les filets de 2. On retire alors la brosse et, avant qu'elle soit complètement sortie (ayant entraîné avec elle le manchon 7) on peut retenir à la main le manchon -il retirer de l'autre main la brosse, dont les soies, pénétrant dans ce manchon, sont ainsi exprimées du trop-plein de liquide, puis, retirant alors brosse et manchon, faire retomber le manchon vers le capuchon 4.
Quand la brosse ne sert pas, on l'introduit à nouveau dans le récipient comme il a été dit, et on visse alors le capuchon 4 sur 2 (position de la fig.l).
REVENDICATIONS.
1. Brosse à étendre des produits fluides, càractérisée en ce que sur le manche de la brosse peut coulisser exactement un man- c,hon qui, dans une position extrême, recouvre le manche, et, dans l'autre position extrême, recouvre à peu près complètement les soies de la brosse.
