Chaîne de transmission silencieuse.
EMI1.1
/. , . , , , . , , , . , , , ... - , ......
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Silent transmission chain.
EMI1.1
/. ,. ,,,. ,,,. ,,, ... -, ......, llenCieuses Silent transmission chains are known whose links are fitted with teeth. It is impossible by means of these chains to reverse the rotational movement of two sprockets / the teeth co-operating with the teeth of the sprockets being oriented towards the inside of the chain.
According to the invention, a silent transmission chain is produced provided with a series of teeth directed outwards and a series of teeth directed towards the inside of the chain.
According to one embodiment of a chain according to the invention, the same link is provided with teeth oriented in opposite directions,
Other features of the invention will emerge from the description below,
The appended drawings show by way of nonlimiting example one embodiment of the invention. This extends to the various original features included in the arrangement shown.
The fig.l is a perspective view of a chain part produced according to the invention.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Fig.2 is a schematic view showing one of the many mechanical applications by means of the chain produced according to the invention.
The chain produced according to the invention comprises links such as 1, the links 2 of which are provided with teeth such as 3 oriented in the opposite direction to each other, that is to say arranged on either side of the axis passing through all the journals.
It is understandable that such an arrangement makes the chain according to the invention, able to act by its two faces (inner and outer) which allows it to be able to mesh simultaneously with toothed wheels or the like arranged inside and on the outside of the conductive strand.
It goes without saying that the grouping of the stitches of said chain can be varied so as to be able to achieve the combination suitable for the goal to be achieved.
The chain produced according to the invention makes it possible to obtain the rotation in the opposite direction, one relative to the other, of two wheels as 4 and 5 (see fig. 2), having a relatively small center distance, and this at notably speeds; high, with great flexibility of operation, a minimum of wear and under rational lubrication conditions, the wheel 6 serving in this case as a chain tensioner pinion.
It is obvious that the chain produced according to the invention could be applied to the technique of machine tools, looms, textile industries, etc.
It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described by way of example but that it extends to any embodiment coming within the meaning or
