Perfectionnements aux palans ou similaires.
La présente invention concerne des perfectionnements aux palans, moufles ou autres appareils analogues de levage et a pour but de réaliser un appareillage de construction très simple et dans lequel la charge soit automatiquement soutenue et équilibrée en chaque point.
Un appareil de levage suivant l'invention comprend notamment une paire de tambours ou de poulies portés par un bloc formant boîtier, une roue à vis en une seule pièce ou rendu solidaire de chaque tambour ou poulie, une vis sans fin adaptée à entraîner les deux roues et des moyens pour l'entraîner elle-même.

De préférence, la vis sahs fin est fixée sur un axe vertical pourvue d'une roue conique entrainée par un pignon conique fixé sur un axe horizontal pourvu d'une roue d'entrainement.
Chaque tambour ou poulie de la paire peut être constitué par un tambour ou une poulie double, chacune de ces tambours ou poulies doubles comprenant deux tambours ou poulies fixés sur une vis sans fin (ou solidaires d'une vis sans fin) interposée entre lesdits tambours ou poulies.
Si on le désire, l'appareil de levage comprend quatre tambours ou poulies doubles, chacun d'eux étant en une seule pièce ou rendu solidaire d'une roue à vis qui engrène avec une vis sans fin centrale.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention résulteront d'ailleurs de la description ci-après, en-référence au dessin schématique annexé, dans lequel:

En référence aux fig. 1 à 3, l'appareil de levage représenté peut comprendre deux tambours ou poulies 1 de même diamètre, montés sur deux des axes parallèles 2 supportés par un bloc formant boitier qui peut être constitué par des parois

avant, arrière et latérales 3. Les parois avant et arrière peuvent porter une entretoise 4 munie d'un trou 5 propre à recevoir un anneau à queue filetée, un maillon, crochet ou autre dispositif par lequel le bloc peut être suspendu. Suivant une variante, le bloc qui présente un fond plat peut être supporté par des traverses espacées ou similaires sur lesquels le fond plat peut reposer.
Chaque tambour pu poulie 1 est pourvue d'une roue à vis 6. Les deux roues 6 sont entrainées par une vis sans fin 7 placée entre les deux roues. Une chaine, cordage ou câble 8 peut être fixée à chaque tambour 1 de façon à être enroulée sur lui et déroulée lors de la rotation des tambours en sens opposés, au moyen de la transmission à vis sans fin.
Suivant une variante, les chaînes 8 ou similaires, au lieu d'être enroulées sur les tambours, peuvent être guidées autour des tambours. Une extrémité de chaque chaine peut être ancrée sur le bloc.
Comme représenté, à la fig. 4, chaque tambour peut comporter des logements 9 dans lesquels les maillons des chaînes 8 peuvent s'engager de façon à empêcher le glissement des chaînes sur les tambours ou les poulies.
La vis sans fin 7 peut être fixée sur un axe vertical 10 supporté par des paliers à billes ou à rouleaux 11 montés sur une entretoise inférieure 12 qui peut être en une seule pièce avec la paroi avant du bloc, formant boîtier. L'extrémité supérieure de l'axe 10 peut être supportée par une entretoise. supérieure 13 également en une seule pièce avec la paroi avant du bloc. L'axe 10 peut être entrainé au moyen de roues coniques 14 et d'un arbre 15 muni d'une poulie 16 propre à recevoir une chaîne ou un câble.
Les extrémités inférieures des chaînes 8 ou similaires peuvent être fixées à une bride 17 (fig. 5 et 6) qui peut être traversée par la queue d'un crochet 18, d'une cheville ou autre dispositif convenable, susceptible d'"etre adaptée à la charge

à soulever.
Si on le désire, l'extrémité supérieure de la queue du crochet 18 ou similaire est munie d'une rondelle 19, des paliers à hilles ou à rouleaux 20 pouvant être disposés entre cette rondelle et la bride 17.
Suivant la réalisation décrite aux fig. 7 et 8, le palan peut comporter deux poulies à chaine doubles montées sur des axes parallèles 2 portés par le bloc formant boitier. Chaque poulie double est munie d'une roue à vis 6 et comprend deux poulies à chaîne 1 et 1', ayant la roue 6 interposée entre elles, les poulies simples 1, l'étant en une seule pièce avec la vis sans fin 6, l'une de chaque côté de cette dernière.
La vis sans fin 7 engrène avec les deux roues 6 comme représenté aux fig. 1 à 3.
L'extrémité supérieure de l'axe vertical 10 peut être munie ou formée d'un ctochet par lequel le bloc peut être suspendu. Suivant une variante et comme représenté, le bloc peut comporter l'entretoise 4.
Si on le désire, l'extrémité supérieure de l'axe 10 peut être munie d'un roulement à billes ou à rouleaux.
Une chaine de levage 8 est attachée et enroulée sur chaque poulie 1, l'ou passée sur chaque poulie et les quatre chaines peuvent être fixées à une bride 17 (f ig. 9) à égales distances du crochet de levage 18 ou similaire. De préférence et comme représenté à la fig. 9, la bride 17 est rectangulaire et une chaine de levage 8 est attachée à cette bride au voisinage de chaque coin.
La rotation de la poulie d'entrainement 16 provoque la rotation de la vis sans fin 7 et des roues 6,en soulevant ou abaissant la bride 17.
La fig. 10 représente schématiquement une disposition de quatre roues à vis 6 chacune munie de deux poulies 1,1'. Les quatre roues 6 engrènent avec une vis 7 disposée centralement et portée par un axe vertical 10.

Une chaîne est guidée sur chaque poulie 1,1'. Ces chaînes, qui sont au nombre de huit, peuvent être ancrées sur le bloc, formant boitier et sont reliées à la bride 17 (fig.ll) à égales distances du crochet de levage 18 ou similaire.
Bien entendu, les formes de réalisation qui ont été décrites et représentées ne sont données qu'à titre d'exemples et l'on peut, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention, modifier de toute façon convenable, le nombre, la forme, le genre, la nature, la disposition et le montage des divers éléments.

The present invention relates to improvements to hoists, blocks or other similar lifting devices and aims to provide an apparatus of very simple construction and in which the load is automatically supported and balanced at each point.
A lifting device according to the invention comprises in particular a pair of drums or pulleys carried by a block forming a housing, a worm wheel in one piece or made integral with each drum or pulley, a worm adapted to drive both wheels and means to train it itself.

Preferably, the end sahs screw is fixed on a vertical axis provided with a bevel wheel driven by a bevel gear fixed on a horizontal axis provided with a drive wheel.
Each drum or pulley of the pair can be constituted by a drum or a double pulley, each of these double drums or pulleys comprising two drums or pulleys fixed on an endless screw (or integral with an endless screw) interposed between said drums or pulleys.
If desired, the lifting apparatus comprises four double drums or pulleys, each of them being in one piece or made integral with a worm wheel which meshes with a central worm.

With reference to fig. 1 to 3, the lifting device shown may comprise two drums or pulleys 1 of the same diameter, mounted on two of the parallel axes 2 supported by a unit forming a box which may be formed by walls

front, rear and side 3. The front and rear walls can carry a spacer 4 provided with a hole 5 suitable for receiving a ring with threaded shank, a link, hook or other device by which the block can be suspended. Alternatively, the block which has a flat bottom may be supported by spaced cross members or the like on which the flat bottom can rest.
Each drum or pulley 1 is provided with a screw wheel 6. The two wheels 6 are driven by a worm 7 placed between the two wheels. A chain, rope or cable 8 can be attached to each drum 1 so as to be wound on it and unwound during the rotation of the drums in opposite directions, by means of the worm transmission.
According to a variant, the chains 8 or the like, instead of being wound on the drums, can be guided around the drums. One end of each chain can be anchored to the block.
As shown, in FIG. 4, each drum may include housings 9 in which the links of the chains 8 can engage so as to prevent the chains from sliding on the drums or pulleys.
The worm 7 can be fixed on a vertical axis 10 supported by ball or roller bearings 11 mounted on a lower spacer 12 which can be in one piece with the front wall of the block, forming a housing. The upper end of the pin 10 can be supported by a spacer. upper 13 also in one piece with the front wall of the block. The axis 10 can be driven by means of bevel wheels 14 and a shaft 15 provided with a pulley 16 suitable for receiving a chain or a cable.
The lower ends of the chains 8 or the like may be attached to a flange 17 (fig. 5 and 6) which may be traversed by the tail of a hook 18, a dowel or other suitable device, capable of being adapted. at the expense

to lift.
If desired, the upper end of the shank of the hook 18 or the like is provided with a washer 19, ball or roller bearings 20 being able to be arranged between this washer and the flange 17.
According to the embodiment described in FIGS. 7 and 8, the hoist may comprise two double chain pulleys mounted on parallel axes 2 carried by the block forming the box. Each double pulley is provided with a worm wheel 6 and comprises two chain pulleys 1 and 1 ', having the wheel 6 interposed between them, the single pulleys 1, being in one piece with the worm 6, one on each side of the latter.
The worm 7 meshes with the two wheels 6 as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3.
The upper end of the vertical axis 10 can be provided with or formed with a ctochet by which the block can be suspended. According to one variant and as shown, the block may include the spacer 4.
If desired, the upper end of the axle 10 can be provided with a ball or roller bearing.
A lifting chain 8 is attached and wound on each pulley 1, or passed over each pulley and the four chains can be attached to a flange 17 (fig. 9) at equal distances from the lifting hook 18 or the like. Preferably and as shown in FIG. 9, the flange 17 is rectangular and a lifting chain 8 is attached to this flange in the vicinity of each corner.
The rotation of the drive pulley 16 causes the rotation of the worm 7 and the wheels 6, raising or lowering the flange 17.
Fig. 10 schematically shows an arrangement of four screw wheels 6 each provided with two pulleys 1.1 '. The four wheels 6 mesh with a screw 7 arranged centrally and carried by a vertical axis 10.

A chain is guided on each 1.1 'pulley. These chains, which are eight in number, can be anchored to the block, forming a box and are connected to the flange 17 (fig.ll) at equal distances from the lifting hook 18 or similar.
