Les récipients de cuisson sans manche présentent l'avantage d'exiger beaucoup moins de place pour leur rangement ; par contre, ces récipients sont d'une manipulation beaucoup moins pratique lors de la cuisson. Afin, de faciliter la manipulation des récipients de cuisson sans manche et de ceux comportant des manches ou poignées trop courts, l'invention prévoit la création d'une poignée amovible pour des récipients de ce genre, cette poignée pouvant être fixée facilement sur ces récipients et détachée de ceux-ci, de sorte que ces récipients présentent, en même temps que les avantages de la réduction d'emcombrement lors du rangement, les avantages

d'une manipulation pratique et aisée lors de la cuisson.
Conformément à l'invention, la poignée amovible se compose de deux leviers articulés l'un sur l'autre et dont les extrémités comportent des éléments de préhension entre lesquels peut être introduit et maintenu le bord du récipient.
Les dessins annexés représentent, schématiquement et â titre d'exemple nullement limitatif, un mode de réalisation du dispositif objet de l'invention. Dans ces dessins : la fig. 1 est une vue latérale de la poignée amovible en position fermée; la fig. 2 est une vue en plan correspondant à la fig.l; et la fig. 3 est une vue de profil de la poignée amovible en position d'ouverture, et montrant la mise en place sur le bord du récipient.
Comme le montrent les dessins, le levier formant poignée, et désigné par 1, présente une section en U, et est découpé et embouti dans de la tôle. L'extrémité antérieure 2 de la poignée ou du manche 1 est fourchue, et présente deux pattes élargies 3, repliées latéralement et incurvées de maniére à épouser la périphérie d'un faitout ou récipient analogue, de dimension relativement faible. Dans l'extrémité fourchue 2 du manche peut pivoter un levier à griffe 4, articulé autour d'un axe 5, et qui, dans sa position de fermeture, est soumis à l'action d'un ressort à lame 6 fixé dans la poignée 1, de manière à pouvoir être plus ou moins serré en surmontant l'action du dit ressort. L'extrémité antérieure du levier 4 porte une griffe 7 coudée en U, et dont l'extrémité libre arrive par le haut et en avant de la bride 3.
Lors de l'ouverture du levier à griffe 4, la griffe 7 se soulève au-dessus de la bride 3. Dans cette position, le bord du récipient peut être saisi par la griffe, comme le montre la fig.3, ou la bride 3 appliquée sous ledit bord. La poignée 1 et le levier 4 peuvent

alors être fermés, comme les branches d'une pince, en les rapprochant de manière que le bord du récipient se trouve serré entre ladite bride 3 et la griffe 7, ou se trouve appliqué par la griffe 7 sur la bride 3. La bride, ainsi que la griffe, présentent une certaine élasticité de manière à éviter de former sur le récipient des traces ou dépressions sous l'action du serrage, et aussi pour permettre aux brides de s'adapter à la convexité de récipients de plus grande dimension.
En serrant plus ou moins le levier à griffe 4, le récipient est maintenu plus ou moins solidement, de sorte que le dispositif permet aussi de saisir en toute sécurité des récipients ne comportant pas de rebord. Lorsqu'il existe un rebord la griffe en U7 passe sur celui-ci.
En saisissant et en soulevant un récipient à l'aide de la poignée ci-dessus décrite, le levier à griffe est en quelque sorte involontairement serré davantage, ce qui provoque un maintien plus solide du récipient. L'ouverture du levier à griffes 4 provoque l'enlèvement instantané de la poignée. Une seule et même poignée permet donc de manoeuvrer plusieurs récipients ou marmites utilisés simultanément lors de la cuisson, sans que ces manipulations entratnent des pertes de temps quelconques; au contraire, la suppression des poignées ou manches fixés sur les récipients permet de gagner de la place sur le réchaud, et facilite et accélère ainsi le travail.

As shown in the drawings, the lever forming the handle, and designated by 1, has a U-shaped section, and is cut and stamped in sheet metal. The front end 2 of the handle or of the handle 1 is forked, and has two enlarged legs 3, folded laterally and curved so as to fit the periphery of a pot or similar container, of relatively small size. In the forked end 2 of the handle can pivot a claw lever 4, articulated around an axis 5, and which, in its closed position, is subjected to the action of a leaf spring 6 fixed in the handle 1, so as to be able to be more or less tight by overcoming the action of said spring. The front end of lever 4 carries a U-bent claw 7, the free end of which comes from the top and in front of the flange 3.

then be closed, like the branches of a clamp, bringing them together so that the edge of the container is clamped between said flange 3 and the claw 7, or is applied by the claw 7 on the flange 3. The flange, as well as the claw, have a certain elasticity so as to avoid forming traces or depressions on the container under the action of the clamping, and also to allow the flanges to adapt to the convexity of larger containers.
By tightening the claw lever 4 more or less, the container is held more or less solidly, so that the device also makes it possible to grip containers without a rim in complete safety. When there is a rim, the U7 claw passes over it.
By gripping and lifting a container using the handle described above, the claw lever is somehow unintentionally squeezed further, causing the container to hold more firmly. The opening of the claw lever 4 causes the instantaneous removal of the handle. One and the same handle therefore makes it possible to maneuver several containers or pots used simultaneously during cooking, without these manipulations leading to any loss of time; on the contrary, the elimination of the handles or handles fixed on the receptacles makes it possible to save space on the stove, and thus facilitates and accelerates the work.
